Amazing food as always! Great service and a lovely roast. Our favourite pub in Exeter.
The Hour Glass Inn – ExeterAnother beautiful experience with the family. Food was divine. Setting was perfect couldn't ask for more
Maritimo Wine & Tapas – PlymouthHeaven! We had the somerset charcuterie and in-house pickles, then burger and pasta. It was all delicious and surprising. Hats off to the chef(s). *****
The Hour Glass Inn – ExeterAsked for water and was brought a £10 bottle I hadn’t ordered! Fritto misto batter rather too thick which impaired the flavour of the seafood and courgette. Burrata not as creamy and delicious as the one I buy in Waitrose. Pizza Margarita had too thick a crust. Very good service. Convivial atmosphere. Six out of ten
Belluno Italian Axminster – AxminsterWonderful service as always, delicious food and wonderful cocktails always my go to restaurant in Axminster!
Belluno Italian Axminster – AxminsterMy wife and I like it very much, lovely view, good service, wonderful food, it’s tapas so it’s small plates and obviously cooked by an expert, not pretentious at all which suits me, it’s a little pricey if you not been before, pleasantly different to other places.
Upper Deck Bistro – PaigntonYou come for the view and outdoor dining experience. The restaurant is run by 2 people - 1 chef 1 front of house, but it was explained that it may well take longer to be served. But they tried to get to us as soon as possible, food was lovely and the guy was friendly. Yes it is a bit expensive but was local ingredients and cooked fresh. We would go again
Upper Deck Bistro – PaigntonLovely place to stay, or just eat. Really good food, and the staff are fantastic - nothing was too much trouble. Wish it was closer, but we’ll definitely be back.
The Poltimore Inn – South MoltonWhat a lovely little gem of a place. We sat outside on the terrace overlooking the water, perfect. Our party included a vegetarian and she was really pleased with her choices of tapas. The rest of us enjoyed sharing tapas which were all delicious. The food and drinks were excellent and the staff were friendly and efficient. We will definitely be going there again.
Maritimo Wine & Tapas – PlymouthExcellent food lovely setting very nice staff
Maritimo Wine & Tapas – PlymouthWe came a night earlier than originally planned and they were able to fit us in. I now realise why. Postitives: the view was stunning and the wine delicious. Negatives: dirty glassware, weird ring doorbell to sit on an open terrace, Peter was running around like a busy fool, mains served before starters, food overpriced over cooked and flavourless, no apologies or offer of alternative. STAY AWAY save your money and go anywhere but here
Upper Deck Bistro – PaigntonVisiting the area and what a good find. Excellent menu with lots of choice. Delicious food and great service. Would definitely recommend.
Belluno Italian Axminster – AxminsterAt £14 a portion, you expect top-tier, proper chippy quality. What I actually got was a handful of thin, frozen fries instead of real fresh-cut chips, and a piece of fish that was painfully average—despite claims of it being "caught fresh today." Paying top-end prices for frozen chips and mediocre fish is completely unacceptable. Save your money and go to a proper local chippy instead. 15 minutes per order to wait
Zannes Bistro – DartmouthSuper restaurant and excellent service.
Belluno Italian Axminster – AxminsterFantastic lunch for mine and my twins birthday. Stunning table on the terrace, staff were very helpful and the food was amazing. Really good value
Maritimo Wine & Tapas – PlymouthVery pleasant atmosphere and great food. Well worth a visit.
The Harbour Inn – SeatonGreat service, really friendly staff Food was so good we couldn't eat a dessert Definitely will come back again
The Castle Inn – BarnstapleSunday Menu: 2 courses, £31; 3 courses, £39.50.
