Been multiple times and as always and excellent evening. Had a seat on the balcony and the weather made the evening even better. Service was excellent and staff kept apologising for the wait (which wasn't long) but we were more than happy to wait, why rush the meal when your in a perfect location to enjoy great Tapas. Felt like we were in spain Sangria and Amazing food. Will be back again.

Lovely Italian restaurant with very good service would highly recommend

Lunch with family on a very hot day. Chose the small carvery plate which was just right for me. Very pleasant atmosphere and delightful and attentive staff made it an enjoyable experience.

Our meal was absolutely delicious Three of us Three courses and not one disappointing choice Great service Friendly attentive but not intrusive Outside heatwave but inside remarkably cool Thoroughly enjoyed and heartily recommend

The best restaurant in Axminster by a country mile

Very much an impulse booking having looked at the sample menu online so happy to get in early evening. Nice venue positioned at the quieter [north] end of Preston, great balcony seating [we had the weather for it!] Attentive and friendly service from Peter and fantastic food from Ruth! Some different tapas options, all of which we enjoyed, especially as the calamari was a delight [rice flour!] pollo rebodazo has an addictive dressing and the cauilflower was a taste explosion. We will be back!

We had a wonderful meal with a beautiful view with good friends . The quality of the food was extremely good and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Very much worth a visit or two. We shall be back.

It was lovely to have another great meal at the Maritimo. We left Plymouth 11 years ago. Maritimo was always a favourite then so, having returned to Plymouth for a holiday, we made it a priority to have a meal there. It didn't disappoint. Excellent as always.

Lovely setting with sea views, we would like to have sat on the terrace but it was too windy! The food was very tasty, a good selection of dishes. We had 4 plates between the two of us plus some bread (very nice) which we found ample. The dessert menu was very small, could have done with more choice but we were too full anyway!

What a great find! Atmospheric location, fabulous food, wine and cocktails. Lovely service, prompt food, hot and tasty! Do yourself a favour, don't look any further, call and see if they have a table at Maritimo!

Eaten here a few times now. The food is always lovely. Just the right size portions. Staff are always friendly and helpful. We've always managed to book a table on days of inclement weather so yet to experience sitting outside on the terrace but will do one day! It's a lovely location with beautiful views.

We had lunch with our friends at The Poltimore Inn, it was very enjoyable. The atmosphere was great, as was the food and service. Would certainly visit again.
