Really enjoyable experience
Lilibet’s Afternoon Tea Emporium at Lytham Hall – LythamAbsolutely recommend this experience. Attentive staff, scones warm when ready to eat. Refills of tea or coffee. Made diabetic tea for husband. All food homemade and very fresh.
Lilibet’s Afternoon Tea Emporium at Lytham Hall – LythamWe are a group of 10 friends who go out on a regular basis for a meal together. Waitress was friendly and helpful. On the whole the food was very good. Plenty to choose from on the menu. Only niggle was length of time it took before we were served and 1 meal was a little delayed however I understand that on that night they were a chef short and we were a larger party. Would recommend and would go again all be it as a 2 or party of 4. Others in the group said the same. I would say give them a go.
The Greedy Badger at The Miller Arms – Poulton-Le-FyldeI have eaten here now three times and it has always been good but the other day was superb. The cheese pie was like nothing I had had before and I would like a lesson in cooking vegetables from your chef. They were beautiful. Mum loved her salad and my son is always wary of ordering pizza because sometimes it can be 8 inches! He needn't have worried, it was huge and delicious. A couple of points taken off for atmosphere as it is very loud in there with no soft furnishings to absorb noise and so conversation was difficult.
Thyme – PoultonWe enjoyed our afternoon tea at Lytham Hall on Wednesday 26th July 2023. We were celebrating our Golden Wedding anniversary with our two granddaughters. The staff food and the venue was just perfect. We would thoroughly recommend Lytham Hall and will definitely be going again. Thank you so much. The McDonnell Family
Lilibet’s Afternoon Tea Emporium at Lytham Hall – LythamGreat food and great service. Have had takeaway from here before which was excellent but ate in the other night and as good. Service was friendly and very good without overdoing it. Only slight negative was it was a bit chilly in there that evening (wet and rainy night) and could have done with the heating on.
Buraq – KirkhamReally spoilt for choice, although we both eventually ordered from the Set Menu. Our meals arrived promptly and both starter and main were lovely. Very good service for our very friendly waitress. Just the right measure of attention, great value, a smashing start to our evening, we will certainly come again .
No 90 Bar and Grill – BlackpoolI organised a trip around the house followed by afternoon tea on Sunday 23rd July. Apart from appalling weather the afternoon was a resounding success. All 20 ladies thoroughly enjoyed Thomas and Sue B'S description of the house and its history and were very grateful to have such a wonderful afternoon tea. Dietary requirements were catered for and we all had an endless supply of beverages. The food was delicious and was described by one lady as the best afternoon tea she had ever had! I can second that. The waitresses were so accommodating, welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Don't change what you are doing as it's excellent! Thank you very much, we hope to see you again soon.
Lilibet’s Afternoon Tea Emporium at Lytham Hall – LythamWe are 3 fifty somethings who arrived at the restaurant on the afternoon of Saturday 22nd July. We were looking forward to a lovely meal in pleasant surroundings which had been previous experiences for all of us. Sadly, Saturday was to be completely the opposite and ended with us walking out. As we were early for our table we asked if we could sit in the bar area and have a drink. We were deliberating over a specific wine when the owner came over to ask if we were ready to order. One of my friends turned to ask if we were happy with our choice. The owner interrupted saying just yes or no. My friend tried to explain but the man just walked away and went back behind the bar. She made several attempts to apologise and stated we did not mean to offend at which point he made a comment that we were obviously brought up differently. At this juncture all 3 of us were incredulous and once again my friend tried to resolve the issue. The owner was totally dismissive and walked away. By now the atmosphere was extremely uncomfortable and people seated in the restaurant had started to look over. It was at this point we decided to leave. On our way out we tried to speak with the owner’s son whose only words were ‘I know!’ The whole experience was humiliating, unnecessary and a blatant disregard for customer service whatever their gender, race or colour.
Amazing food and lovely atmosphere
The Courtyard – LythamAnother lovely evening at Italio. Well done, Nino!
Italio – BlackpoolWe visited on a quiet (and wet!) Saturday and was greeted by a very warm reception by the restaurant team here. We shared a bruschetta bread to start which was really tasty and fresh, perfect! Then rump steak frites on the specials board was a good lunch portion and flavoursome, would recommend foe the price and generable reasonable value for money for well prepared food. Recommend!
Fifty Four – Lytham St. AnnesDelicious food served in elegant surroundings by attentive staff.
Lilibet’s Afternoon Tea Emporium at Lytham Hall – LythamWe had a fantastic evening, service was lovely and friendly and the food was amazing ! We will definitely be back .
The No 10 Bar and Kitchen – BlackpoolWe had 5 items off the tapas menu including, Prawns, piri piri chicken thigh, Bruchetta, pattats bravas, ribs, and haggis and black pudding bon bons. Now I like my tapas and have visited a fair few places locally some excellent, some good, and some mediocre. Fifty four is up there with the excellent ones, the food here is beautifully cooked, well presented, and very tasty. I will definitely be visiting again.
Fifty Four – Lytham St. AnnesAbsolutely Excellent food and the service is equivalent can’t recommend enough we always have a wonderful evening
Buraq – KirkhamThat large breakfast is something else!
Thyme – PoultonThis was my first visit to Lytham Hall and I was very impressed with the afternoon tea. We had the Platinum tea and thought it was great value for money. Everything was delicious and well presented. Loved the fact that the scones were warm and they said just to ask for them when we were ready. Attention to detail was very good and the staff were lovely. The only negative is that in addition to paying out for the tea, we also had to pay to park in the hall grounds. Personally I think that if you have made a booking for afternoon tea free parking should be available
