On Friday 31st July I celebrated my 30th birthday with 21 friends at China Red, I thought these numbers maybe a little overpowering for a restaurant but from the moment we walked in the door all the staff were very friendly. I had made China Red via email aware of a member of the party with a nut alergy, this was addressed within minutes, we were seated straight away and the fabulous food and drink soon followed. Sometimes the quality of food at restaurants for big parties dips, this was not the case here, absolutely gorgeous throughout and that was the opinion of all. Thank you all at China Red, I will most certainly be back in the very near future, keep up the good work.

We have had three or four evening meals and a couple of lunchtime meals at the pipers. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates good food, well prepared and served. The staff are very friendly and helpful, try it you will not be disappointed

i would recommend suda thai for there fantastic food, friendly service and great varied menu i have had both take away and eaten in and the food is always top quality, be sure to book in advance as its always busy.

fantastic fresh food, lots of choice and fab service, i would and will recommend this restaurant to Thai lovers and those new to Thai food. My favourite is the garlic chicken and egg fried rice.

Since the opening of Constantines I have been a regular customer enjoying the early bird meal. Presentation is excellent and the quality of food to match. Soup and Chicken Stroganoff. I will continue to be a regular and recommend it to anyone.

My partner and I had a 3-course 'Early Bird' meal here last night. It has seldom been our pleasure to eat such marvellous food; good quality ingredients, beautifully cooked and nicely presented. Each of the 3 courses was a triumph. A very nice coffee was served, too. The staff were very friendly and reassuringly competent. My partner and I plan to revisit The Trafalgar as often as we are able and and are most anxious to work our way through the very interesting menu boards. Thank you for a splendid, very reasonably-priced evening.

Just enjoyed a great meal at Pipers. The restaurant is really relaxed and has a great atmosphere. The wine was reasonable and high quality. The service was exceptional - really friendly delivered by people who wanted to make the evening a pleasure. The food was original with superb ingredients cooked to perfection and my only problem was deciding what to have off the menu. Well done Pipers

I am not recommending this restaurant, in fact quite the opposite! I went with 11 friends for a birthday party last night and the service and the food was absolutely atrocious! I have been to Portofino several times before, the service has been poor in the past but last night was terrible. We had to wait over two hours for our main course, one of my friends was served mussels of which two were closed which is an absolute no-no, they made several mistakes with the orders so all in all a disaster.

Constantine's restaurant on Highfield Road serve excellent food, they also provide an excellent earlybird from Monday to Friday (times do apply) and also serve a superb Sunday lunch. The staff are very attentive and will go out of their way to make you most welcome whilst dining in their restaurant. Their wines are excellent value for money and we look forward to their expansion with great anticipation. Highly recommended

My wife and I visited The Queensway last Monday with friends who live in Lytham and dine there regularly. Very impressed. Meal prices very reasonable; food excellent, beer cold, waitress, Kate, was patient and charming. Will certainly visit again when in the area. Not bothered about discount, just wanted to appreciate the staff and quality. George Russell BSc

We get a Gulshan properly once every two-three weeks, there food is delicious and the portions are big and great like the price. Karahi Chicken and Buhuna Chicken are so excellent .......The best food on th world .....:-)

just the best in Blackpool, I happily take a 10 mile drive to come here, does not do pizzas,burgers and all that rubbish but if you like you kebabs I have found nowhere better in 20 years.

We left very disappointed, the food is very pricey especially the kids meals. I ordered a lemonade and lime which I asked to get changed twice as it was flat. Toilets are dirty, table wasn't clean and the staff were not that over friendly. The best thing I can say is its a nice little pub for a cosy drink but would never eat there ever again.

We'd happily travel a long way to sample the really excellent cuisine on offer at Pipers in Garstang. Luckily we don't have to as it's within walking distance of where we live so we can enjoy great wine too (good value by the bottle!). We've been twice now and we're looking forward to returning again and again. Brilliant.

Visited here on the recommendation of " Avid Diner " , Firstly , simply stunning !! Great grounds and fantastic building, inside modern yet with a traditional twist , our family had a mixture of courses from the VERY reasonable ala carte menu , cant belive the value for money here, staff were wonderful and were made to feel very welcome. Def worth the ten minute drive out of Blackpool for this , enjoyed it that much we are heading back this weekend for our Sunday lunch there with friends , Five stars to you all at Singleton Lodge

My dad stays locally in Kirkham and had went to this pub last year for a meal but decided against it (choice of food and service looked poor), however when he took me there last night he new as soon as we entered it must be under new management as the atmosphere was so welcoming and the menu had excellent choice. We enjoyed our meal so much so that we went back today for a rather greedy large lunch! Will definitely return there again & again.
