Baja Mexicali – FarehamSo me and my friend I went to the tepanyaki counter and had another unpleasant experience. The last time I was here a year ago probably it was the same. Man who was there was taking his time prepping the previous order. Man was not looking at us or asking our order still I waited patiently. It then took about 10-15 minutes and he still was not asking for our order nor looking at us. I then told my friend that Ill be the one to tell her order so I ask that staff in tepanyaki counter if I can order as I want to grab some food already so I can use my time I said can I have steak and shrimp and he kept having me repeat again and again only to find out he cannot accept "shrimp" he corrected me and said its PRAWN. I said ok if Prawn is what he wants me to say then asked wheres the tepanyaki menu list. Rudely he pointed at the poster next to him which was turned on his side not facing us. That is what we first noticed we cannot check which was available so we based our order on the last time we were there. This is the second time and he was still rude. Poor customer service I would say.
Spoon World Buffet and Bar – PortsmouthWe happened upon Chequers Inn whilst on a pre planned circular walk. We had a very enjoyable hot drink and quick lunch. Our next visit was little more organised. We booked an indoor table and arranged our walk so that the pub was halfway round. We were pleasantly greeted, given a lovely table near to the wood stove fire. Our lunch we choose was well presented and arrived timely despite the pub being very busy. Excellent choices on the menu and reasonable prices
The Chequers Inn – Lymingtonexcellent service and food as I've come to expect and have never had any issues with it. the issue i have is the gents toilet facilities and possibly the females too, as these have been somewhat disregarded for months now, and the locks on some of the cubicles do not work and urinals are constantly out of action. My son is 13 and over the height requirement but he is autistic and only has a very small plate of food, and this is becoming expensive. if there is any scope to help in this area for anyone who has this same issue ??? This will not stop me from visiting though
Spoon World Buffet and Bar – PortsmouthThis was our first time visiting the East End Arms and we were very impressed. Lovely location, the food and service were excellent. Looking forward to a return visit.

The Chequers Inn – LymingtonThank for our delicious family supper last evening December 22. There were 11of us and everyone had the most perfectly cooked dish. My starter of scallops were the best and main course of hake cooked to perfection on a bed of delicious vegetables. Efficient cheerful service all came at great value. How lucky we are to have such a great local

The Platform Tavern – SouthamptonFrom our very first point of contact, the team at The Townhouse could not have been more helpful and accommodating. The food was delicious, and they were really considerate around my gluten and dairy sensitivities. We ate in the bar, and it was a lovely cosy atmosphere seated by the woodburner. We look forward to a return visit!
The Townhouse – LymingtonOne of my favourite places to eat lunch in Whiteley - the burritos are amazing
Baja Mexicali – FarehamGreat service so left tip. Soup delicious as a starter. Pie and mash excellent but fish stew awful and left it behind. Way too expensive at £28. Music much too loud. Sorry. Wouldn’t return.
