The SP Bar – AndoverMy family and I have been coming here for years and loved it. Today my partner and I came, a carvery for me (the 2 course deal) and he ordered the curry of the day (a lamb madras) 30-35 minutes after ordering my boyfriends madras still hadn’t arrived, we asked about it and the waiter (possibly landlord) apologied then went away and came back with it... saying the chefs hadn’t told each other about it. Anyway, he started eating it and because it had been sat there for so long, the curry was warm and he tore parts his poppadum. It wasn’t spicy at all and had no flavours to it. We never mentioned it to the waiter when he came back as it was just one of those things. I then went to the bar and gave in my ticket for my pudding. Another 20 mins went so I went back up and asked, he then went into the kicthen to chase up. 5 minutes later he came and told us they had run out but no one had told him... Those things happen I suppose. So he then offered me a free drink, happy days! I asked for another vodka lemonade, then said could I please have a crumble as my chosen pudding was unavailable. He came back to the table and said no I could either have my pudding OR the drink.. So after apologising by offering a free drink as most pubs do, then changed it to either that or a pudding I have already paid for!! I told them no I don’t want either, the whole experience was ridiculous. I don’t mind accidents or misunderstandings as it happens everywhere. And if people are starting new of course things happen. But this was ridicolous. A 30 mins late cold tasteless meal, 20 mins for a pudding that wasn’t even there and leaving out of pocket as the kind gesture wasn’t a gesture at all! Definatley won’t be back, which is a total shame as we have loved this place for years.
The Wheatsheaf Hotel – New MiltonThis fabulously light and airy cottage style café has the most wonderful menu for any time of the day . Always plenty of staff to help and service is great. The food is home cooked which satisfies the taste buds. Highly recommend coming out to Lee On The Solent to try this place for a family meal which is affordable. Otherwise walk in off the beach to cool off and enjoy some home cooking. A very enjoyable place to eat.

The Trafalgar – AldershotVisited the Bun Penny tonight with two friends and son and very disappointed with the meals. The mushy peas were rock hard and the faggots tasted of liver. Although comments were made nothing was acknowledged so will find it very hard to return.
The Bun Penny – Lee On The SolentThis was a first visit to Lemoni. The waiter was very pleasant but the food I had (turkey and pork) was quite dry and salty! I'm afraid that has put me off from a return visit.
Lemoni Grill House – SouthamptonAs it was my wife's birthday I wanted to take her somewhere special and decided to try your new restaurant. We were greeted by very pleasant staff who gave us plenty of time to decide on what to have.We both had starters and mains accompanied by half litre of house wine but could not find enough room for a desert just enough for a cup of coffee. The food was nicely presented and the waiter also enquired if we were enjoying the meal. All in all a very enjoyable and pleasant time for a very reasonable price, will definitely be returning soon.
