Great service, lovely location. The Sunday roast was the best I’ve had for a long time. Excellent value for money.

Baja Mexicali – FarehamA true local pub, friendly service offering a great choice of food. Well kept beers and ciders. Spacious seating areas, large garden if the weather is good, undercover outside if not and in the bar area itself. Staff always accommodating and happy to adapt menus when possible. Highly recommended.
The Chequers Inn – LymingtonLovely food very helpful staff. We will ne returning returning soo
Spoon World Buffet and Bar – PortsmouthGreat pub, excellent food and good price too
The Master Builder – SouthamptonWe have been many times (it’s our local) Sunday lunch is especially recommended - tasty appetisers, generous main courses and attractive sweets. Very friendly service in a comfortable dining room. Lunches are served Thursday to Sunday. For other times try the public Bar.
The Townhouse – LymingtonI booked the Seahorse to cater a private function. The staff were brilliant and the buffet was exactly as I requested. I cannot praise the team there highly enough. If you are looking for a local venue for a gathering, I would definitely recommend the Seahorse.
The Seahorse – GosportI booked here as I know people who enjoy the Sunday lunch. Unfortunately I cannot add a photo to show how the 2 plates turned up visibly overcooked, which I commented on and was ignored by the waitress. The fish was dried out, batter not edible and chips hard and dry, members of party did not want to complain. The tuna was watery in the ciabatta melt making it unpleasantly soggy, all in all very disappointed. The 2 people were offered a free pudding to make up for paying £15 for an overcooked main.
The Master Builder – SouthamptonDisappointed, First time vising, got there at 7.30pm was seated quickly, minimal variety of food left mainly Chinese, Indian and fish sushi. No carvery, only sushi available seemed everything was being cleaned down. Went for sweet section to find that there was only ice cream as again it was being cleaned and closed. Was very disappointing as many people had said it was fantastic. Would not go again
Spoon World Buffet and Bar – PortsmouthThis was my first time dining here. The waitress was lovely and very friendly. The food was good value for money and really tasty; the only issue was the wait between started and main - this was 40 minutes and the restaurant was only half full. We had to remind them about the main, the waitress was really apologetic and the food arrived about 5 minutes later. I would definitely go again.
Baja Mexicali – FarehamBeen to Spoon Portsmouth on a number of occasions and never disappointed. Lots to choose from and different dishes to try something new. The staff are fantastic and always a pleasure atmosphere.
