A fabulous stay here, again, we made sure we were there for Sunday lunch this time, absolutely delicious. Great service, warm, friendly but still professional.

First visit to Portsmouth spoons. There at 5,for opening. Had booked,but that wasn't necessary,as wasn't asked if I had booked . Seated Quickly, refillable soft drinks by a good price,plenty of food available,even for the picky ones, chips,Indian, Italian,pizzas,plenty to choose from. And puddings on too,if you can fit it all in. Nice to see that the food was reasonably hot,and tasty. Would recommend

Simply delicious roast beef lunch!!!!

Easy booking on the website. Requested a table with plenty of room for a wheelchair and it was perfect. Staff were great. There was a minor hiccup with one order which was dealt with swiftly and efficiently. The food was delicious, the portions just right. We haven't visited The Seahorse for a few years and we're pleasantly surprised. Will definitely visit again.

The staff were super friendly but the food was poor. The Moules were very overcooked with too many broken shells. The roast beef was also over cooked. Shame as it is a nice place . The dining room was a bit cold.

Im Happy to say this is the second visit of mine. Vooked for 15 people, we all had Good Hot food, though some of the rices could do wirh being stirred more often as they become quite dry. The Staff were on Hand up and down the restaurant to help remove plate and restock dishes. The Atmosphere was Good, the bar selection was great. All 15 of us enjoyed our time there

We visit here regularly Excellent food , service , lovely staff just a shame we had to share our space with an obnoxious gentleman next to us , it would be better if the tables were a little further apart

Our overall stay was very good! The room was excellent and staff friendly. The location was perfect.

The service was slow when we arrived and waited some time to order drinks . The burrito was hot and tasty as were the chips . After dinner the waiter asked if we wanted dessert we said no thank you. He bought the bill over and then two minutes later he bought the machine over to pay although we hadn’t actually finished our drinks . The chair was very uncomfortable, which was a shame. We did feel a bit rushed to leave.

What a brilliant place, warm and friendly staff, stunning food, fabulous location. Little touches like water for the dog and treats to keep them happy went along way. Highly recommend

After visiting before and having a lovely meal, was very much disappointed this time, food was dry and wasn’t good at all looked like it had been sat there a while. On this basis was not very good value and very hit and miss. Choice seems to of gone down as well. Staff were attentive so couldn’t fault that.

My 2 friends enjoyed a good meal. But my vegetable lasagne was very indifferent - it appeared to be reheated and the vegs seemed to be a random selection. Nice salad. The service was very good , really helpful staff.

3rd visit in past 2 months and each time we have had great food. Excellent menu, beautifully cooked and generous portions. Good value for money. Staff all very friendly. Can't believe we hadn't been to this gem of a local pub before now. Great walks on the doorstep. Perfect! Can highly recommend.

My team and I had a brilliant lunch here. The staff were incredibly accommodating and understanding when we ran behind schedule! The meals were delicious, and no mistakes were made. Thanks for creating a great experience!
