Good food, atmosphere & service. Lovely place for cheese & wine.

Usually tasty food, but avoid Sundays, as quite possibly the worst Sunday lunch I've ever had. Lumpy mash, small amount of watery gravy, roast beef as if it was out of a packet. Uncooked cabbage and a burnt Yorkshire. Didn't feel like the staff made it easy to say anything as not the friendliest.

Went for my daughters birthday, food marvellous atmosphere great. My daughter really enjoyed herself had cocktails too. We will be back.

Awesome. The Pinot Grigio wine by glass is lovely. I had the chicken linguine. I love this but ordered cauli cheese from the Sunday toasts & wow that made it all the more delicious

Was a bit surprised to be told when we arrrived 13 min later of our booking time that the kitchen closes at 19:30, still been seated and fed, pizzas were good

Food delicious - I need to broaden my choices though as I always go for 'old favourites'. Staff pleasant and professional as always. This is a fairly regular haunt for us - will be back soon.

We had an evening meal. OH had the Katsu curry and enjoyed it. I had the chicken shawarma salad. The chicken was tasty but the salad was mostly red cabbage and lettuce and cucumber which was a bit too sharp. The menu said ‘pickled slaw’ it definitely wasn’t that. It came with a flatbread which seemed superfluous to the meal. Our drinks order didn’t turn up until we asked about it. We had ice cream and cheesecake for pudding, both were very nice. The staff were friendly. We visited for old times sake as we knew the Whitchaff 25 years ago when we lived in the area. The meals were reasonably priced.

Saturday evening, very busy, but food and service as good as ever.

Lovely meal and the dessert was an absolute creation and scrumptious.

Amazing food and service as always. The Sunday lunches are exceptional and great value for money too.

We were in on Friday 16th May for my daughters birthday.. Staff were great with us as we dropped off a cake, balloon and flowers early to dress the table. Food and drink was great as always and we were well looked after throughout.

Nice to return after sometime and find standards haven’t slipped in fact probably improved

Franco and his staff served us very well with flexibility and prompt attention. The kitchen provided tasty food at affordable prices.

Came for food on Friday evening and the food was incredible! The service was great too. Very attentive. Would highly recommend coming here. We will be back very soon.
