Been 2 times now to Papa Luigis - lovely food.
Papa Luigis – ChorleyExcellent food. Good choice and always well cooked. Staff are friendly and helpful. One of our favourite places to eat.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallWe had such a lovely meal .. my brother and his wife came to visit from America.. they loved it .. staff were friendly and very attentive. Thank you we will be back very soon
Quattro’s – OrmskirkFirst visit to Bread and Butter for a Sunday Lunch but it will not be the last. Friendly staff made us welcome and service was very prompt. Only a small menu but enough to choose from. We chose to share some halloumi fries as a starter, which were delicious. For mains my partner opted for the lamb shoulder and I had the belly pork. Both cooked perfectly. An array of vegetables, also cooked the same. Finished off with just a scoop of ice cream each as we hadn't got room for anything more than that. A thoroughly enjoyable experience and looking forward to trying the Tapas menu one evening.
Bread and Butter – PrestonFirst visit in a long time and it didnt disappoint.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallThe service was good but the food was terrible. All the bread had been microwaved so was rock hard and inedible (on my son’s burger and our garlic bread). I had the trimmed chicken and it was so salty it was disgusting. I felt sick afterwards and was actually sick when I got home.
Ship Inn – LancasterThe food and service were very good. But the beverages including teas and lattes were not as hot as they should be.
Maxy Farm Pantry & Restaurant – PrestonI recently hosted a Baby Shower event for my daughter at The Pantry @ Maxy Farm, Preston. The event was booked for brunch for 13 adults and 1 child. I was very impressed with the overall organisation from booking with Katie and Georgie, who explained the procedure and kept me regularly informed of developments, to the wonderful care and attention of all the staff who attended to us on the day. The venue was perfect and we were allowed to place some themed decorations (banners, balloons, etc.) in the room, which enhanced the whole experience. The staff were warm and welcoming and very attentive and the food was well presented, hot, delicious and arrived promptly, which made the experience such a good one. My daughter and all the guests remarked on how much they enjoyed the food, attention of the staff and the general ambience of whole event and I would highly recommend The Pantry @ Maxy Farm for future events.
Maxy Farm Pantry & Restaurant – PrestonEnjoyed a very pleasant few hours here. The breakfast was good and staff were lovely. Would recommend
Maxy Farm Pantry & Restaurant – PrestonFood was excellent, we had roasts & fish & chips between us plus starters. Service was very solid despite them being very busy. Only blight was a table with screaming kids running around & ignorant parents which I don't hold against the Shepherd's Rest staff, just unfortunate. Overall though, another great experience and we'll be back - thanks!
The Shepherds Rest Inn – TodmordenHad a lovely Sunday lunch. Great food and great service at a reasonable price. Will definitely return.
The Ribchester Arms – PrestonAmazing food as always! We've been going to Papa Luigis for 15 years and its always fantastic. I'm addicted to the stuffed mushrooms and the garlic bread with cheese is to die for. The pizzas are great and I sometimes go for the Penne Diavola (although I ask for tagliatelle pasta instead) or the Risotto Montanaro which are both amazing. The staff are very accommodating and the atmosphere is perfect. In summary, you'd struggle to find a better Italian.
