This is a very special place, excellent fresh food. An unusual menu, loads of choice for vegetarians & vegan as well as plenty of stuff to satisfy the meat eaters. The Thai toast on the breakfast menu is a revelation. Friendly service, and a relaxed atmosphere. What's not to love?

Lunch at Toms We were lucky to be able to sit outside this time, what a beautiful court yard. Food and service excellent as always, a few new dishes and again excellent. Couldn't wish for better place to eat in clitheroe.

Booked for my partner’s birthday, 13 of us on a Saturday evening, enjoyed by all, everyone enjoyed their meals and commented on the excellent quality and value for money. Staff were great professional, efficient and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

I booked a show at The Lancaster Grand Theatre, booked a hotel for the night and decided on The Sultan for an Indian meal before the show. We both thoroughly enjoyed the food. Had something a little different to my usual and have to say it was top notch. Service was good although a mistake on the bill had to be rectified, with an apology and a reduction. Wouldn’t hesitate to visit again when next in Lancaster.

We LOVE The Ship! The staff are amazing; so warm and friendly. We had dinner with my two young kids and the food was yummy. We’ll be back soon!!
