Brizola is our favourite local restaurant. You’re guaranteed a friendly welcome from all the staff and the food is delicious. It’s also now much easier to book online.

Found this little gen in Sugarvine Travelled from the fylde coast on a very grey wet day! More than worth it to discover this place Fabulous food a unique setting and very attentive and very pleasant staff . Took a foodie friend forlunch and she loved it ! Will be back soon and tell other friends Thank you Tom&Trudy for a most enjoyed lunch. Regarding the atmosphere im sure the evening light would be better but it wiuld add to it if you were to play french music

First visit and recieved a warm welcome , great food and service in a lovely atmosphere. All delivered at a sensible price. What is there not to like?

Consistently fantastic meals at a reasonable price. That's why we always return. Remember to book if possible though because they can get busy.

Great food with fast and efficient service.

It was a little disconcerting when we walked into the 'Ship' to see that the place was totally deserted! However, patrons gathered quickly to make for a good company. We are asked about drinks immediately, provided with menus and were able to order within minutes. We and our friends were impressed by the quality and quantity of the food: it's a long time since I had whale and chips! There was no time when we felt that we should move and we were able to stay for a long conversation. The only factor that caused us to leave was the need to travel home some 80 miles before darkness fell completely! Thank you for an excellent lunch! We'll be back.

We booked a table as we had a guest visiting from overseas. Lovely atmosphere, seated near the fireplace so toasty warm on a freezing night outside. Good food and plenty of it, with excellent service! Only downside, we were too full to squeeze in a pudding! Oh well, we will just have to visit again...
