The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallExcellent food and service. Great selection of dishes available and it was all tasty and freshly prepared. Can’t wait to return!
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallPoor service, poor food with a poor price tag. So disappointed after hearing good reviews!
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallWent for steak night. Had a cheese soufflé for starters which was really good. Main course was steak. Had a bit of problem with it but professionally handled. Cheese board for dessert was an excellent choice of cheeses. Service was impeccable. Will be definitely going back (if they let us!).
Toms Table – ClitheroeI visited with a friend. Her meal was delicious, mine not so much. The chicken had no flavour at all, the potatoes were very hard and overcooked. The sauce for the chicken was also not good, very wishy-washy. My friend had a beef medalian dish with a pepper sauce and she thoroughly enjoyed it.
Papa Luigis – ChorleyI visited with a friend. Her meal was delicious, mine not so much. The chicken had no flavour at all, the potatoes were very hard and overcooked. Papa Luigis – ChorleyWe had a superb evening at The Lunesdale Arms. Amazing food, great atmosphere and decor and very welcoming, friendly and efficient staff. We will definitely be back soon. So nice to eat great food at an independent pub.

The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallA firm favourite of my family, just lovely, everyone so accommodating, don’t change!
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleThis was the first time we'd been back to The Whitchaff since it's refurb. I found the booking process online very easy, although next time I might see if I can ask for a particular table in the 'extra info' box. I had the Lancashire burger, which was delicious; Allan had the fish and chips with mushy peas. The refurb is lovely, very classy, and the service we received was spot on - friendly and not too pushy. We will definitely be back as I want to try the sharing platters!
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallFood excellent as always. Service was unusually lacking. Had to ask for enough wine glasses. Wine and cutlery just dumped on the table. Would still go again.
Papa Luigis – ChorleyIt was our last night together for a few days so my husband took me on a date night. All I can say is ‘Wow’, great surroundings before you even enter the unique restaurant. It felt like I was in Italy or France, a quaint restaurant with lovely staff, the food was lush, I had a fillet steak and I choose the sauce recommended by the waitress, which I’m now calling my magic sauce delicious. The food was beautiful, I do love a pretty plate of food, I’ve been promised a bottle of my favourite New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc from the Marlborough Region as they have a new supplier. I’ll be back greetings from London!
Toms Table – ClitheroeService and food was amazing.all fresh ingredients so clean and friendly
