This was to say the least a Very disappointing experience… A Restaurant we have visited before and enjoyed very much … We booked on line … but on arrival no booking for us , this seemed to really annoy what we think was the acting manager or main waiter (front of house) we were Told where to seat and left for 15 mins before asked if we wanted drinks.. These were poured and we watched them sit at the end of the bar for the next 10 minutes… After a further 20 minutes we had to ask to have our food order taken ..! Each time No please thank you or any sign of customer service.. The food came which we had no complaints with and the first sign of some actual customer service … at No point did anyone ask if the food was ok or if we even wanted anymore drinks ..! On leaving the Restaurant we complained that the service was poor…. To which the acting manager just said … Yes I know..! No apology nothing.. we paid £100 for this Very poor service I would recommend your local Wetherspoon before here the staff are always friendly and you can get 2 pizzas and 2 drinks for £20 I will happily answer any questions that the owners have as I am sure they would not like to think the business they have built up over many years was being represented so badly…

The food was lovely as was the whole experience . The staff were attentive without being over so. Definitely will return.

We ate here Saturday evening and came back for Sunday lunch. Great atmosphere and staff were great. Had a good laugh with Alice! Menu food on Saturday was great. Tip- If you have the gammon don’t have a starter! I can honestly say the Sunday roast dinner was one of the best we have had. We were scraping the plates. Next time we’re in the area, we’ll be back for sure. Thank you.

Proper old style pub with great choice of drinks and food. The local community have rescued and are supporting it. Great village location, friendly helpful staff and great value for money.

A fantastic Friday tapas night out, wonderful atmosphere, fab quick service by very friendly helpful staff, superb food & half Prosecco to make the night complete.

We had a special family Sunday lunch- six adults, one five year old and two under ones. We were all catered for very well. The food was excellent and the staff were very helpful and pleasant. We shall certainly be back.

This was our second visit to The Three Millstones and it certainly won’t be our last. Everything about this place is fabulous. The varied menu is reasonably priced, the food is delicious, the staff are extremely efficient and the atmosphere is great. What’s not to like !!

Fabulous family birthday meal. Love Quattros. Super attentive staff, high quality food and plenty of choice Nice atmosphere. Been here several times before and again the whole experience was amazing. If you've not been here before you are missing out on a real gem.

We have been twice now, and absolutely loved it! The food is amazing, with such an extensive menu I have to say hands down, was the best Sunday lunch I’ve had!! The beef just melted in your mouth, and the cauliflower cheese was delicious

There is nothing to fault with the Shepherds Inn - ordered the Yorkie board in advance which was excellent. My wife has a garlic intolerance which meant they adapted the board by replacing roasties with mash. Food was excellent - service was even better. The only small thing that could be improved on the food was the red cabbage could have done with a couple of more mins

We’ve been going to Verdes for many years and it never disappoints. 3 of us went early Sunday evening. The service was excellent and the steak Diane was especially good. My 93 year old mum summed it up ‘ Great welcome, great food and just a lovely atmosphere’ Thanks as always Verdes.

Go to Papa’s about once a month, and never disappointed. Food very nice, and a reasonable price. It’s made more enjoyable by the staff, who are efficient, and friendly.

We had a lovely meal with friends on Sunday, we all enjoyed it. The roast beef dinner was the best we've had. The atmosphere was good and staff attentive. Definetly go again.
