Amazing food last night. I had the meze board and the lamb shank with feta fries. Absolutely superb! Staff very attentive as well and kept us topped up with drinks. Definitely recommend

Started with bruschetta alla pomodoro delicious flavours and followed with tagliatelle nettuno with king prawn perfectly cooked and flavoursome. Finished off with their heavenly mint choc chip ice cream. Bill reasonable - good value. Service fast and atmospheric.

Been 3 times now, food and service excellent. We are new to the area so trying different venues and this is one of the best. Lovely view from the beer garden too. Definitely book in advance

Excellent food, good surroundings and good service

Most recently we visited Tom's Table as my husband's choice for his birthday dinner, because we'd enjoyed it so much on our first visit last year. Two very long bus rides later, because of the train strike, we arrived. Happily that first time wasn't a one-off and the food is still beautiful! Everything on the menu sounded appealing and everything we ate was cooked, seasoned and presented to perfection. The pork belly was falling apart, the soufflé light yet rich. We ate à la carte, but there's also an early bird menu that's outstanding value for money. The negronis were excellent and the wine list enticing. Service is warm and welcoming, efficient but not stuffy. And they provided a lovely extra for my husband's birthday. We'd definitely be eating here every week if we lived that bit closer.

Came for Sunday lunch on May 14th 2023. Have been very happy customers here for years. I am always grateful that I have food on my plate. However, lunch ("roast" lamb etc) was absolutely awful. Vegetables seemed pre-boiled or roasted and then warmed up. I suspect the lamb was prepared "sous-vide", which means the meat is actually poached in a plastic bag. There was an event going on, so why not put up a notice apologising and just serving coffee and ice-cream? I have to wonder if the business has changed hands. There was no sign of activity in the kitchen. A grim experience.

Great service, excellent food, this is why The Traders has a good reputation.

Another excellent meal at Tom's Table. Lovely food and attentive, friendly but discreet service. It is always value for money, you can see and taste the work and skill that goes into producing the food. Already looking forward to our next visit.

Yesterday evening was the 2nd time that me and my partner have dined at the Trawden Arms, we love the atmosphere and best of all the huge portions of food we’ve received.

Amazing food, excellent staff, nice atmosphere, great value for money. We have been frequenting this place for almost 40 years and cannot fault it !

Although the restaurant was very busy, the service was excellent and food very good. I had chicken livers for starter and then beef stroganoff which was very tender and tasty!

Really lovely place and food to match!!The restaurant manages the rare trick of being both peaceful and lively with lots of buzz and atmosphere.Best of all is the menu. We especially liked the small plates and ordered six of the best between the two of us(more than enough with the lovely puds).Do try the cheese souffle...its one of the best things I've ever put in my mouth!!Nice wines and beers on offer too.All very reasonably priced so go soon!!!
