Lovely staff and great food. We came for a few drinks on Sunday as we were camping nearby. The team were all very friendly and accommodating. Great gammon and egg too!

Went for a Sunday lunch again ,Was lovely food as usual,cannot praise this place enough, hats off to the chef ,fantastic. We have been quite a few times ,can't wait to go back.All the staff are lovely and can't di enough for you I recommend this place absolutely.

Had a wonderful lunch sat in the sunshine. Made even more delightful with a live guitarist singing some cool tunes in the courtyard. The deluxe sharing board was delicious. As were the aperol spritz and cold beers. The staff were lovely and it was genuinely a perfect way to spend a couple of hours with my husband on a sunny bank holiday weekend.

Could not fault the meal we had with friends. Every course was tasty and beautifully presented. Service was good too. Very good value for money too. We will definitely return

Six of us went to the bottomless brunch at Cosmopolitan, the food was amazing and the staff were attentive, the cocktails kept flowing, thoroughly enjoyable evening had by all

My first visit last night and I will definitely return. We sat at the table at the top of the stairs infront of the window which was gorgeous on a lovely sunny evening. The early bird menu is extremely good value, everything was delicious. Service was excellent. Thank you

We have visited a couple of times recently. The food is always good. The new decor is lovely. The only thing letting it down on our last visit was that the service was very slow.

4 friends out for a meal. Wonderful food, cooked to perfection, mainly fish, with sauces with a cacophony of flavours. Friendly attentive staff and a great, cosy atmosphere. Highly recommended.

A party of three of us visited the Shephed's Rest for an evening meal and were not disappointed. The staff were friendly, welcoming, polite and helpful. We all chose something different and all were delighted with our choices. I had the gammon and can honestly say that it was the best I've ever had. Very lean, beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. Iam sure that we will be returning soon.

Second time visiting this restaurant and the food is amazing, my only gripe would be frozen chips I would have preferred home cooked chips feel it’s lets it down a bit. Having said that will definitely be going back.
