Toms Table – ClitheroeReally lovely place. We have been a few times recently with different friends/family and everyone has really enjoyed it. Can’t recommend it enough.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallWe waited over an hour for the starters, when they arrived two plates didn’t have one element of the dish. We were then told they needed the table back for another booking (the place was not full by a long way) we asked if we could eat desserts outside just so we could have dessert. At the end of the meal I nipped inside to the toilet to see the table we were sat at was still free. This is not the kind of service or standard I find acceptable
Toms Table – ClitheroeDelicious pizza - so authentic
Site Pizzeria – TodmordenBack again but this time for Father’s Day Sunday roast. It didn’t disappoint! The best roast we’ve had since last time we came! Fantastic as always. Thank you!
Bread and Butter – PrestonWonderful meal enjoyed by all as usual. Fabulous staff and welcoming as usual. Even my two youngest were delighted with their meal. Andost importantly, my dad had a lovely time and we went for fathers day
Papa Luigis – ChorleyAt first the service was excellent but then had to wait 20 minutes for the sweet menu and then a further 30 minutes to let them know what we wanted. Gave up in the end and asked for the bill. They were very busy though!! Chicken was chewy.
Verdes Restaurant – ChorleyWe had been recommended the Sunday roast so booked for Father’s Day. The meal was nice apart from only one slice of meat, a very woody parsnip and an overcooked Yorkshire Pudding. Thinking maybe it was because it was busy with Father’s Day as the weekday menu has always been lush. Or maybe because it was a 4.30 booking and they close at 6 on a Sunday? Atmosphere and setting lovely but wouldn’t promote the roast unfortunately.
Maxy Farm Pantry & Restaurant – PrestonBooked for my son and daughter in law. They were thrilled by the menu, excellent service and relaxed atmosphere. Couldn't praise their first visit and will definitely be back again. Highly recommended!! We knew that as we visit occasionally and have never been disappointed.
Quattro’s – OrmskirkLovely food in comfortable surroundings. service was excellent, all round a very enjoyable experience. Highly recommend a visit.
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleBooked a table for Father's Day to treat my parents, they absolutely loved the food and we all thought it was good value for money. The only two small things that were negative was the music was very loud and we had to ask for it to be turned down and the limited vegan options. But we would definitely visit again! Staff were very nice. Definitely recommend
Site Pizzeria – TodmordenI went on Father’s Day. It was busy. Food was very good and was served hot. The hospitality was not that I expected. They were not as friendly as I would expect. I did assume this was down to them being busy. I will give it another go to see.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallMain portions were great, though over-priced in my opinion. Calamari was £7 for 7 tiny pieces, which needs to be improved upon at that price. Carrot cake was worth the cost. Irish coffee was nice, though not a real irish coffee (don't think there was a whiskey shot in there? probably Baileys and there was no single cream 'head'). Atmosphere was nice, dog friendly and professional staff.
The Waterwitch – LancasterExcellent place !! Superb food and great value for money !! The staff were absolutely amazing the two youngsters working on Father’s Day were happy smilie and sooo polite it was extremely refreshing to see to be quite honest!!! My dad had a wonderful day and I can’t thank you guys enough
The Cosmopolitan Restaurant and Cocktail Bar – ChorleyWe ordered the lunch time special meat sharing platter with 2 glasses of wine. It was wonderful (as always) and everything was delicious. All the ingredients were very fresh and there was plenty there for 2. I'm already looking forward to going back soon!
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallThe breakfast we had was delicious the food was fresh and the staff were very helpful. Lovely vibe to the place
The Barn – PrestonAs always excellent food and service. Can’t wait to go back
Brizola Bar & Grill – ClitheroeFriendly quick service, generous portions of food and proper chips accompanying the lovely cooked large light battered fish and then lovely portion of apple pie with a jug full of cream for dessert. Will definitely be returning soon
