Lovely food and excellent service
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallEnjoyed a great meal and we were spoiled for choice with the variety on the menu to choose from, we both had the fish tacos and they were delicious. Lovely staff and a fab place to go.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallWe have eaten here before but felt more personal this time. All of the staff were friendly and the manager/owner was very personable. The food was delicious! Very tasty and cooked to perfection. Will definitely visit on a more regular basis.
Anatolia Grill – St HelensDelicious food and great service.
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleWe found The Whichaff by its reviews on Trip Advisor and it didn’t disappoint. The food, staff and setting are all excellent! If you are looking for a lovely pub that’s serves top notch pub food then this is the place. The food wipes the floor with the fisherman’s retreat which is twice the price.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallAs we walked up music was blaring, as we walked in the staff all looked very young. I had a moments trepidation A moment later it had passed, the staff (who were a delight; friendly but not over the top nor too informal, attentive but not annoying dare I say .. … perfect hosts) took us to the seating area where the music was just noticeable enough to give atmosphere & the decor gave a nice relaxed feel. The food was very good, everything was spotless & the staff I have mentioned ! Impressed
The Cosmopolitan Restaurant and Cocktail Bar – ChorleyA cosy little place with only about 30 covers but regularly full. The chef is on view which always adds interest and food is freshly prepared, served promptly and with a friendly smile. The mussels were probably the best I’ve had.
Bread and Butter – PrestonHad my friends baby shower at the pantry on Sunday, we all had roast dinners, I have to say from start to finish it was amazing, food, venue, service and overall experience. We had one of the male servers looking after us and he was amazing and so helpful ,(can't remember his name). Highly recommended 5***
Maxy Farm Pantry & Restaurant – PrestonWhat can I say the food was excellent ,to be honest the chorizo’s and beef rolly polly well I just didn’t want it to end My partners fish was excellent and my fathers fish pie was outstanding The service was excellent the ambience was lovely The lunesdale has fond memories when it was in it previous incarnation circa 1988 and it’s moved gracefully with the times Thank you very much for making it a lovely afternoon
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleFabulous!
Bread and Butter – PrestonFabulous meal as usual, wonderful service.. will see you all again soon !
Quattro’s – OrmskirkLovely food, great salads, all fresh and delicious Service was spot on with helpful friendly staff. Organic wine was good too, even the decaf coffee was lovely! Will be back soon.
Site Pizzeria – TodmordenVery disappointed. We waited a long time for each course the starters were good, when the main courses eventually came the roasts were good but one of our party had a burger but that was overcooked, there was a lot of staff about but nobody taking notice when we wanted them. Asked for dessert there were 2 missing the ones we wanted and it wasn’t late 3 asked for coffee but the machine was broken but could have instant, then another member of staff came and said we couldn’t? Everything took along time even the children were getting board and they had a play area. More organisation 2 1/2 hours for Sunday dinner !
The Shepherds Rest Inn – TodmordenI have been to The Pantry many times but this visit was a little disappointing. The food was OK but not like previous experiences and the price for a Sunday roast costs £17.50! The staff were friendly as always.
Maxy Farm Pantry & Restaurant – PrestonThe worst food experience ever, bad service and bad food. Do not go there.
Sultan Of Lancaster – LancasterOur first time eating at the Shepherds Rest, and it won't be our last. Had the Sunday Roast, which was really delicious and good value. All of the staff were terrific too - helpful, friendly and welcoming.
