Met for a girls Christmas lunch at the bread and butter and the festive lunch was amazing! Beautifully cooked served and presented. Delicious flavours throughout. Would highly recommend. Lovely decor interior and service. Compliments to the chef! Outstanding on every occasion we have been! Thank you.

Hadn’t been for a while but food was very good. Good prices too. Won’t leave it so long before we are back again. Staff were very attentive but also not in your face attentive which was great

I, two guests and and my Labrador, had lunch on 13th December. One of my friends is in a wheelchair but I particularly wanted her to meet my dog so was anxious we would be seated in the right part of the pub. We had an ideally placed table for all of us. The staff were thoughtful about opening doors to allow the wheelchair access, and all were friendly to my dog. She was given a big bowl of fresh water . My only complaint about the food is that I ate too much. One of my friends is vegetarian and she got the right pie. Service was friendly and attentive though the pub was full and busy. The bill was very reasonable for three courses each.

We attended yesterday before the football and our food was excellent reasonably priced and the service from the team here was on point I would like to recommend you take a look and also say a big thanks and happy Christmas to all the team

Had a fantastic meal at The Traders on 10th December and 11th December! A great atmosphere and staff couldn't do enough I was lucky to win a £50 voucher so I will definitely be back in January to celebrate my Birthday!

Visit regularly. Lovely food, great atmosphere. Sometimes service slightly on the slow side but overall a great place for a family meal.

Fairly impromptu lunch with my son. It wasn’t too busy when we arrived. Service was great with Rob and staff very friendly and attentive. My son couldn’t decide what to have and there was no rush or hurry whatsoever. Drinks were delivered quickly and we didn’t have to wait long for food either. I had the Halloumi Burger and my son (eventually) opted for the Smashed Burger. Both were fabulous, really tasty and portion sizes just right. To top it off, my son decided it was his treat! Perfect.

What can I say was really nice from start to finish.. Sadly I think the cheese board we got was slightly over priced.. But was still enjoyable.. Will be back

First time visiting The Traders which gives a cosy traditional vibe and it felt so Christmassy. At the time we visited it wasn’t too busy so our meal was relaxing and lovely The staff worked so hard and on the go the whole time we were there. The food from the Christmas menu was cooked perfectly, and very enjoyable. Massive portions too

I meet here with a group of friends from across the north West every month or so. Lovely food, great service .
