Had a lovely lunch , the food was really nice and the service was great.

As soon as we walked in the staff was extremely attentive to us, we were show to our table and asked if we wanted drinks, they then gave us enough time to study the menu before asking us for our orders, when the food came with no delays it was of a high standard, no complaints there, all in all I would recommend the Whitchaff

Went for breakfast. We are a small group who are searching for the best breakfast around. This was excellent and topping our chart.

Quattros is always our go to place for great food and wonderful staff. I had reserved a table for two for my birthday. However, on the day, at short notice, the party grew to seven. I contacted Lucie to ask if we could change the booking and of course, despite the fact that they had some very large groups in, she accommodated my request. The food was fantastic and the service second to none. Great team, great food, lovely restaurant and bar, can’t recommend enough!

We had a lovely evening with excellent food, a good atmosphere and charming staff.

Last night we had a get together to celebrate a friend's birthday. There were 6 of us and we all enjoyed our choices from the menu. The food was hot and beautifully presented and the portion sizes were perfect. The staff are lovely and seemed to appear just when needed. The Trawden Arms is a perfect village pub and can always be relied on to cater for all different tastes. Always high on the list of choices and good value for money too.

Met a colleague here for lunch, been before it's fairly local to me. We both had stomache issues following the meal. Also the meal was pretty poor, I had spagbol, really rich and oily. On a positive note, service was good

Went on Tue night had 3 course special staff are excellent had garlic mushrooms in cheese very tasty had chicken with roast potatoes and a creamy sauce the chicken was a bit chewy otherwise the meal was great finished with chocolate fudge cake and custard very nice

Only ordered a single starter and two mains. The dauphinoise potatoes as a side order were cold. So in essence they fcked up 1/3 dishes. Used to be a great place to visit, now run by kids (who do their best) but I will spend my hard earned cash elsewhere in future. Average service, catering for the low end of the dining market and failed in that regard too judging by the price. Avoid!

we were a large party of 14 and we were attended to beautifully, really enjoyed the food. special dietary needs of one of our party felt very special with her individual meal. Lovely. 10/10

Absolutely lovely carvery , meal was more than ample. Desserts to follow couldn't be failed. Staff were friendly and very attentive. Will definitely return. Overall well done to all the staff at the Plough. Xxx

Lovely as always

The Shepherd’s Rest is a very welcoming pub. All the staff are lovely and we have never had a meal that is anything less than perfect here. Would recommend it to anyone wanting delicious food in great surroundings in a beautiful location.

Last booking so probably not surprised that a choice of mains had ran out ?? Very good experience in general and would go again

Went for Sunday lunch. Good portions size with good amount of roast meat selection. Lots of gravy. Friendly staff.
