A’Vucciria – RawtenstallExcellent meal yet again.Lovely place and friendly staff.Would highly recommend .
Toms Table – ClitheroeFantastic fresh food as always, just a nice place to go to.
Whins Green KitchenFood as always was excellent. The best Aperol Spritz. Arancini delicious. Gave a lower score on service as my green beans took longer to arrive. Overall excellent. Some of the tapas are a little bit overpriced
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallWe visited with friends on Friday evening. We used to visit before the pandemic but this was our first visit since it started. We had booked and were shown to our table quickly. Between us, we had starters of minestrone soup, caprese salad, 2 mains of steaks, lobster ravioli and lasagne. We each had desserts. We eat out nearly every week and eat at a wide variety of good restaurants. Tonight, the food was excellent and we commented afterwards that it was the best Italian food we had eaten for a long time. We were served by pleasant staff and enjoyed our evening out. We will definitely visit again. Thank you.
Quattro’s – OrmskirkAnother visit and another enjoyable evening. Sam and Co looked after us in their usual efficent and friendly way. The meal met our expectations ,meals were well cooked and well presented. Met all are expectations. Will continue to visit as one of our favorites places.
Quattro’s – OrmskirkUnfortunately we waited over 90 minutes to receive our main meals. We also had to wait a long time to receive drinks. When the main meals came the chips portion was very small and when we asked if we could have more chips we were told no and that was the portion size, when we asked to speak to the chef they said no they were too busy. To pay £14.95 for a burger and a couple of chips felt really bad value for money. As it was nearly 10pm before we finished our main meals this stopped us from ordering desserts. We complained at the end and after a big debate was offered 15% discount. This did not seem fair and so we spoke to the manager who offered us 25% discount which seemed more reasonable. Unfortunately we won’t be returning here due to the above issues.
Sydney’s of Lancaster – LancasterExcellent food especially the halloumi fries and fishcakes, lovely friendly staff too and great atmosphere! Can't wait to go again!
Bread and Butter – PrestonLovely meal as always, good service. Prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food. Great atmosphere.
Astoria – BurnleyWent for dinner on Friday evening. The food was amazing and the service was excellent. I would definitely recommend it and will be going back again .
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonGreat food and great service Plenty of choice on the menus From set menus which is great value for money Specials menu and normal menu Lovely friendly staff Couldn’t fault anything Tempua Kiing prawns with smoked salmon delicious And the sponge pudding and custard was so light even though I was full managed to share one ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
3 Millstones Inn – ClitheroeConsistently great food and great service
Anatolia Grill – St HelensSuch welcoming staff. They knew about all the dishes and gave lots of recommendations. Food was delicious and service was very quick.
Anatolia Grill – St HelensWe had a great lunch, moules, hanging kebab and fish and chips were all tasty, good portions and well presented. The queue for the food till was a bit tedious and at times dominated the bar so a better solution for busy times would be ideal. Staff friendly and welcoming and a great location
The Waterwitch – LancasterI have been a few times here and previously it has been fabulous. The food on this occasion was full of flavour but dry. It was on the specials board and chicken stuffed but the filling was dry. The chicken was dry and there was nothing to make it better. It needed the filling to be moist or a sauce. Also slightly ruined by the absolutely blind drink woman on the next table
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonA.MAZE.ING! Visited on 7/05/2022. Excellent food. Staff so very polite, helpful, friendly and not pushy and very clean. Was lovely to see an old building saved and put to another use embracing this lovely town. No doubt about it, we will be returning and certainly recommending.
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallGood food and good service. Katie was our server, she was very attentive and gave menu recommendations when we asked
Sydney’s of Lancaster – LancasterWe went for lunch on Saturday, it wasn't busy to start with but was when we left. The staff were lovely, attentive but not in your face. The food was great and I can recommend the sharing platter. My daughter had the brie and cranberry sandwich which she really enjoyed, I had steak and fries, my only complaint would be to much salt, but that could be personal taste. We didn't have dessert as we had no room. The price was very reasonable and we will be returning.
