I went here for dinner with my partner on Monday. When we arrived we were seated promptly & asked if we would like any drinks, after about 15 minutes the waitress came over and took our order. I opted for the risotto with garlic and parsley to start, followed by the steak with wild mushrooms & Chips for my main. First impressions of the food were rather good the starter was slightly bland (however my partner really liked it, so I put this down to my personal taste. The main course was really good & there was just the right amount served . For dessert I had the Rhubarb crumble with vanilla ice cream, this was by far the best part of the entire meal It’s not the easiest place to find, however once you get there its worth it

I used to live in Darwen and visited the Anaz regularly from the day it opened until I moved away some 20 years ago. It is the best Indian restaurant I have ever eaten in and I still take my family back there for special occasions but what impresses me is how Mr Ali still remembers me from all those years ago and still makes us all feel so welcome.

We always enjoy this eating at Alberto's. The food is always excellent, the owner very friendly and accommodating and will always recommend a good wine

We've just ordered a takeaway from La Rocca and, upon opening one of the cartons, found that the contents were badly burnt making the dish (mushrooms) inedible. When my wife rang up to complain, she was passed onto the "chef" who proceeded to question the validity of our complaint and demanded that we provide evidence. Remarkable, considering that the "chef" in question put the mushrooms in the carton only 20 minutes before and really should have known better. Why we would take the time to fabricate a complaint about a dish that cost £4.50 is difficult to comprehend. Of course, they had our money by this time and clearly didn't care about customer satisfaction. Suffice to say, we won't be returning to the culinary delights of La Rocca and their rude & incompetent "chef". Avoid.

Just checked out the Spring Menu online and it's good to see that they have gone back to indicating the Vegan friendly dishes on the menu. Will visit soon and try the menu with a pint of their delicious Continental Bitter. (from Marble Brewery - Manchester) Any chance of Vegan Friendly desserts on your menu in future??

Poor, expensive bar food matched only by tatty furniture, dogs in eating areas and cloudy beer.

The Plough Inn is the best pub food I have ever had - ever. The atmosphere is lovely the service is fast and friendly, the prices are reasonable and the food is outstanding. The menu is huge catering the usual favourites and also some exciting dishes too. If you can give 24 hours notice you can have the lobster - fantastic. I cannot fault the Plough Inn other than we can't always get a booking because it is so popular!!!

very nice food but i always go for the good old fish chips peas and gravy.

We took a trip out to the Freemasons Arms in Wiswell from St.Annes. What a beautiful place with great food. Quite like to back for the cooking courses they run. Only complaint we had nowhere to park but would definitely return.

My wife and I decided to go to the Stork for dinner last night, what a find. The menu was an interesting combination of South African and traditional English cuisine. The food was excellent. My wife had the half Eisbein while I plumped for the burger. Both meals were fantastic, and the portions were generous, I was unable to clear my plate, which is unusual for me. The food was well presented, and piping hot, also the service was superb. Top marks to the Stork, I will definitely be going back there again.

Excellent in every particular, I can't keep away from the superb beer,food & staff and as a result, may end up in penury before i am much older.my wife of 52yrs, claims i love the hopvine more than her !!

We visited the Dalton arms on the friday the 15th of April,after going crabbing with my son and mother at Glasson Dock. They have a special on Fridays called fishy Fridays and at £6.65 it is well worth it as you get fish and chips a pot of tea and bread and butter.The staff are really friendly, and the restaurant inside is really nice much to our surprise.The fish was lightly battered and lovley and fresh.All in all a pleasant experience and if when I'm visit Glasson dock, I will certainly try the Dalton Arms again!

the smiths arms must be one of the the worst pubs in the fylde looks lovely on the outside but the way the manager treated me was unbelievable i got an 8oz steak that i couldn't even cut i told the manager about it when we was leaving and that my girlfriends food had paper in it i wasn't in a bad mood was still going to pay but then he told me there was nothing wrong with my steak and that the paper was my word against his this he is so rude and up himself I'm surprised anyone would go there i know i wont again

Whilst visiting friends in Glasson Dock the wife and I had a meal in the Victoria and would like to say how enjoyable the food and the service was.

excellent food and well mannered friendly staff. Polite bar staff Carl Jackson. Compliments to the chef. Would definitely recommend.

The Oyster and Otter is a great looking pub/restaurant. Unusually they specialise is fish and have a takeaway attached. I chose the standard fish and chips with black Lancashire peas which were excellent. There were far more exciting options on the menu but as it was lunch and I was on my own comfort was needed. Will return with missus and indulge further!

I suspect the previous recommendations have been written by the owner. The food is bland and tasteless. A huge disappointment and a waste of money.
