Excellent meal with our family.

Excellent meal and service at The Lodge last night. The lamb was amazing and the kids loved their pizzas. We will be back!

Went on Friday teatime - friendly staff & nice tasty food. The only thing I don't like is that middle seating area next to the kitchen - it needs something doing to it - it is very stark. Theres are other areas to eat which are a lot better - will ask to be there next time. Also impressed with the covid cleanliness etc. Would recommend.

Lovely meal beautiful decor and great staff, what more could you want. It should be noted that alcohol is not permitted as the building was a Methodist church, a mark of respect for its heritage.

We booked for a Saturday night it was the first night with a new menu we was not disappointed good food well presented also staff made you feel welcome.will come back again.

Went for Sunday lunch. The food was really nice and got plenty. Lovely atmosphere and staff very attentive. Would definitely recommend a visit.

The Sultan of Lancaster is wonderful! On a previous visit with some vegetarians we shared the Thali. This is now our standard that all other Indian restaurants are held to and is what is ordered whenever we visit despite not being vegetarian ourselves. It is COVID-19’s fault that the atmosphere gets only 4 but it is usually 5.

Extremely impressed. Went for Sunday lunch. The best Sunday lunch we have had locally in a long while. Went again on Wednesday evening and had the burger. Again excellent. Felt very safe and were well looked after.

Yes very good curry house or should I say church,myself being not religious some people might be offended if I called it a curry church, anyways, not bad prices well worth a visit. Did have to wait about 30 +mins before anyone came over think they were busy but food was good.

Staff lovely, food lovely. Could do with more than 2 vegetarian options though.

Very warm and welcoming, social distancing and covid rules followed by very friendly staff. Food excellent , we had cod back and haddock and chips, followed by sticky toffee pudding. Will definitely be returning, highly recommend.

Amazing food, stunning building.. happy, friendly staff. Even looked after us by ordering a taxi for us leaving. The gentleman called Mo was particularly friendly and could not do enough for us. Would definitely visit again and would definitely recommend.

Went for dinner and enjoyed a lovely meal, back of cod and chicken. Very well presented and delicious flavours, credit to the chef. The service was excellent, friendly and efficient. So nice to see The Lodge once again being the place to go.

Went to the Lodge today (Saturday) for lunch with friends. The food was amazing, all credit to the chef. We had the warm chicken salad, the back of cod and the steak sandwich. Everything was cooked perfectly and piping hot. We will most definitely be returning sooner rather than later!!!!! Well done the Lodge

Love this place. The staff are all very attentive, the ambiance and background music are just right and the food is excellent.
