First time trying this place and was very impressed! Group of people I was with also really enjoyed it. The front of house staff especially were very welcoming and were happy to answer questions we had about the menu. The food was amazing and just the right amount to have with drinks. We sat at the bar and it was a cosy atmosphere but at the same time was interesting to watch the chefs cook our food. Overall a brilliant experience and will definitely be returning soon to try new dishes. Thank you!

It is probably our favourite restaurant. The food is exceptional and all the staff are both friendly and helpful. Unusually, the wines are at a reasonable price unlike many other eateries. I would highly recommend.

Disappointed. Took over an hour for food to come to the table. Every time we asked about the food….its coming soon. It didn’t !! Very attentive at the table asking if we wanted more drinks….No. we just wanted the food we ordered over an hour ago… When it came to paying the bill…No apologies for the lateness of food. Just wanted full payment. When we mentioned about the delay….we were told we should have pre-ordered as there were 8 of us….SORRY but this is YOUR restaurant. You make the rules. YOU decide about ordering or your ability to cope with a half full restaurant. DONT put it on the paying customer. ALSO they said ITS A SATURDAY YOU HAVE TO EXPECT IT TO BE BUSY AND A SLOW SERVICE……NO!!!!! YOU should deal with the situation and employ more staff. Other restaurants do.

A lovely tasty family lunch. Super food and great knowledgeable service from our waiter- spot on ! We highly recommend this place and will definitely be back.

I’ve booked a table for four on Saturday at3pm 27 dec . we all asked for a bowl and chopsticks the bowls arrived freezing cold starters were acceptable and we enjoyed them the main meal which we ordered to steak in black bean sauce was very tough also the lemon chicken was very dry and thin not worth the money the other two meals were fine it was a Shame this spoilt the meal

Fabulous food and atmosphere . With an excellent range of meat, fish and vegetable small plates and friendly service in a great atmosphere we can't recommend this independent restaurant enough.

We had a magical, relaxing time with the cats and staff. Wonderful cosy, seasonal ambience. Good coffee and delicious orange cake. The cats are so cute, happy and funny little characters.

We had the 2 course xmas menu, and the food was amazing ,the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was very warm and friendly, will definitely come back

Came here for Christmas dinner and nicest experience we’ve had and we go out every year and will definitely be back next year. The food was amazing and portion sizes big. The staff was great and made the day special.

I am extremely disappointed with this restaurant and how they handled our Christmas Day booking. I booked on November 2nd for 7 people and had been emailing back and forth since November to confirm the booking. I also contacted them to arrange dropping off balloons and decorations for my boyfriend’s birthday, which is on Christmas Day. I was told multiple times that everything was fine and that I could come in on the 24th to drop off the decorations. The day before the booking, I received an email confirming everything — date, time, location, and that there were 7 people on the booking. When I arrived on Christmas Day, I was told they did not have my booking and that they were fully booked. No attempt was made to accommodate us in any way. The staff were rude, dismissive, and made me feel like I was lying despite having written confirmation. There was no apology, no kindness, and no effort to help. This completely ruined our Christmas Day and my boyfriend’s birthday. After months of planning and clear confirmation from the restaurant, this level of disorganisation and lack of care is unacceptable. I would not recommend this place, especially for special occasions.

Lovely welcome , staff great , good food , all served fresh . Lamb was fab, prawns great. Definitely going again for Xmas lunch

What an amazing Christmas meal we had. The food is delicious, The staff and management are so friendly and efficient. Our waitress Maddie was wonderful. We would highly recommend a visit. It may be your first but I guarantee it won’t be your last.

Went for breakfast it was best breakfast we ve had in a very long time. So went back again on zmas eve. Service was great. Staff very smart and lovely. The experiance was fab. Definitly going back. Recomend to anyone who loves english breakfast. We did wait a while but was worth the wait.

We booked for Tocketts mill for Christmas Eve and was looking forward to it. But it was very disappointing! We were sat in the conservatory where it was so cold it become uncomfortable. We had to ask them to put the heaters on as it was only every other.. To start the waitress dropped the drinks on our table and they went everywhere. Easy done! Then we were left 40 minutes before the time our order was taken, they said they were busy. I am a regular and it was not over busy. Starters came and the waitress dropped all the garlic bread off my plate on to the table. Main meals came we ordered three parmo’s and each person left half of them as they were so over cooked. The steaks were cold. We were in there four and a half hours. I was very disappointed. The staff are so young and not guided and it’s sad to see. I felt for them.
