Food was delicious and service was generally very good except for a longer than expected wait for dessert (one ice cream never arrived but not really a major issue). Would happily eat there again

Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City CentreVisited Roberto's on our weekend trip to Southport, sat outside for drinks and a fantastic cheeseboard on the Saturday and then Visited for tea on the Sunday. The staff were really lovely on both occasions and the food was beautiful. I had the whole seabass which I had a few weeks ago and it was beautiful, simply cooked and really lovely, well worth the money compared to the price you pay in some places for one fillet. Great visit and definitely be back soon.
Roberto’s Italian – SouthportMy wife try to get here for lunch at least every 6 weeks or so. Was quieter yesterday, the students on holiday and fewer customers. However, no lessening of the superb quality of the food and service. From my creamy Burata starter right through to the silky smooth caramel cheesecake with popcorn icecream, all 6 dishes that my wife and I had were well cooked, beautifully presented and so delicious. We will be back in September when the restaurant reopens and get our reservations in for the Christmas meals in December
L20 Restaurant – Bootle£14.50 for pizza , which wasn’t very nice … dry and rubbery! Tiramisu- was delicious z

Mr Smith’s Parlour – HoylakeFirst visit to this lovely restaurant; hubby and I had souvlaki, fries, cheesy garlic bread, along with drinks for a very reasonable price, served promptly from very welcoming staff. Lovely vibe with a bit table on a celebration, and checking out their food, it all looked the same good quality. May have been our first visit, but won't be the last.
