Such a great place, amazing food and lovely staff, will definitely be back

We booked for our 30th wedding anniversary on 1st June and must say we did enjoy ourselves for sure. Service was slow, but that was fine, as no rush, but I was disappointed the Fish & Chips had sold out by 7:15pm!

Great food and great service, not been out to a restaurant for almost a year and the lady who served us made us feel very welcome all round great experience.

Probably the best eatery in Wigan. Everything about the food is incredible, I wasn’t expecting so much attention to detail for such a low priced restaurant. The portions are huge aswell! So deffinatley save room Throughout the day! 100% will be returning soon’

Always go here as we love the food. Service can sometimes be a bit slow (things like we had our starters before our drinks had arrived - staff member apologised) just think they need more staff as always busy! Food is devine - always have feta triangles and the mixed grill! Yum!

One of the best kept secrets. So as soon as we could we went to Amma's canteen for a meal post lockdown. It's a 40 mile round trip but well worth it.

This is a little gem of a restaurant in South Manchester. The cuisine was not known to us prior to our visit and the staff were wonderful in guiding us through the menu and giving recommendations. The menu is varied, the food tasty and full of flavour but not overly spicy. The owner chef is attentive to all and any dietary requirements and seems to make a point of coming to speak to all his guests to ensure they are enjoying their food. This was our 1st time here but it certainly won't be the last. I have been waxing lyrical about Amma's to all who will listen since our visit on Sat evening. Highly recommend!

As usual, a friendly and efficient service. Comfortable location and excellent food. Umberto is always very welcoming which helps to create a relaxed atmosphere. Best Italian food in Poynton.

As a party of 6 we were well attended to and the courses were served in good time. The menu is extensive, but I would like to see more non-meat starters. The food, was well prepared and nicely presented. Quite happy to return.

Absolutely beautiful place, had a really good evening. 10-10 for the food and 10/10 for the service. Would definitely recommend 100% It’s our favourite place to eat.
