We visited for our anniversary and, when booking, asked if anything special could be arranged. The restaurant offered Prosecco or champagne on arrival, which we assumed was a complimentary gesture, but we were charged £22 for it at the end of the meal. It wasn’t a major issue, but it would have been helpful if the cost had been made clear beforehand. That said, it was a lovely touch that two members of staff wished us a happy anniversary, which made the occasion feel special. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The only downsides were that our table area became quite hot, to the point where I struggled to finish my meal comfortably, and the tables were positioned very close together, which made the space feel a little cramped and reduced the sense of privacy. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely return.

We had a great meal on Saturday evening for Father’s Day. We all enjoyed our meals but what stood out most was the service. The staff were incredibly friendly and they were very attentive.

We had the dolmades starter and homemade doner, this is the 2nd time I've had the donor here and it was just as perfect a the first time, honestly the best I've ever tasted. Staff are really friendly and it's a lovely atmosphere, highly recommend and I will certainly come back again!

Six friends went for a birthday meal and had a really good evening. The food was excellent, the staff very friendly.

Had a great night at waggon and horses food was really good and enjoyed the quiz.

The food and service were excellent. The only negative was being seated in the area by the entrance when everyone was seated in the main bar area, which meant that we felt that we were missing out on the atmosphere of the place. Overall though it is somewhere we would go again.

I must complement the female bar attendant who received our food order in the restaurant. She couldn’t do enough for us and was determined to address any of our needs. My friend ordered the chicken caesar salad which was delicious. I would like to make a small suggestion to the presentation of the chicken, keeping the fillet in its shape but sliced. It would make it easier to navigate.

Under new management! Jodie & the team have done an excellent job, I came for Sunday Roast and wasn’t disappointed. Wanted to book for Father’s Day but of course they are full!

we came on Sunday lunch the food was absolutely amazing the service was excellent and all the staff where amazing nothing was too much. we will be back soon

The food at Rising Moon is always fantastic and the service is always great and very friendly

Meal was really good, service friendly. Should be able to leave a tip when paying by card. Not everyone carries cash and the waitresses are losing out.
