Visited my son in Wigan for his birthday and took him here last Saturday (he had been before and enjoyed it). Three of us arrived almost an hour early (on the off chance there was a separate bar area to wait in, which there wasn't) but as our table was free they kindly let us in so we could enjoy drinks and nachos while waiting for the rest of our party who arrived 45 minutes later. A very relaxed and informal atmosphere, which we appreciated, the lady who served us was amazing and was very patient and friendly while explaining a few things that weren't available and what were good substitutes. The food was really excellent, we had a variety of starters and main dishes and not one person could fault any of it. It truly is a hidden gem and we'll definitely come again when we next come back to Wigan.

We went to the Rising moon to celebrate a 60th birthday,all the meals were lovely,the service was polite and professional.Thank you for making the occasion special.

We came to watch a Football Match (Salford Vs Bradford), we always look for a local restaurant to eat at, Anatolian came very highly recommended by online reviews. This place did not disappoint, the food was absolutely amazing. Such a shame I don't live closer because this place would be my local. The next time I'm in the area I will definitely be visiting.

Fabulous food, Fish, Chips & Peas was fabulous, didn’t get many peas do asked if could have more and they gave us double peas xx there was four of us and one had chilli con carne which was excellent and home made, staff friendly and attentive. The bar was busy and so was the medlock suite but definitely recommend the food before the Abbarettes who were amazing

We ate there yesterday , the taste of the food was nice but i had beef daube and it was burnt on the bottom and very tough and was only luke warm , no body came over and asked how the food was otherwise i would have told them so other people wouldn’t feel the same way as i did , My friend had the prawn linguine , hers were only luke warms and it should have had olives and capers in but they could not be seen , We will definitely not be going there again

Our family booked a table to celebrate a birthday at a difficult time, emotionally. The staff at Sorella could not do enough for us to ensure we had a lovely evening and it really didn’t go unnoticed. The entire party wanted to express how lovely the atmosphere was, together with outstanding food and amazing drinks selections and we most certainly will be back. We would all recommend this restaurant to anyone and most certainly the amazing creme brûlée. Thank you to the team, see you soon.

My brother and I chose this restaurant because our origins are Armenian . The food and drinks were very nice and authentic. The restaurant is light and bright compared to when it was in the basement and the service was excellent. We had the set price lunch menu where we did think that the portions could have been bigger. All in all a very pleasant experience.

We was recommended this restaurant and it did not disappoint! Food was delicious, great value and nice atmosphere! We will 100% be back for more!
