Love this pub, staff, drink & food all brilliant, Have visited many time and will definitely return. Highly recommend.

Visited on a Saturday evening, had the prawns and cheese souffle to start [Souffle was divine!]; both had the steak which was cooked to perfection. Lovely ambience and service. Would highly recommend

Friendly, efficient staff. Good choice on menu, food very well prepared. Excellent value for money. Beers well kept. Parking at bit busy times can be a bit tight.

We were staying on a B&B in the village and booked a table for dinner the food and the service was excellent we were made to feel very welcome

Always enjoyed flat iron steak here on numerous previous visits. Surprised not to see this on menu last night Opted for the £30 sirloin but too big too boring and the chips mushroom and tomatoes boring Left quite a lot. Please reintroduce flat iron or even bavette steak. Service as always excellent.

Superb food & excellent attentive service ! Definitely worth a visit.

Stayed two nights and ate both nights and can't fault it the food was delicious we had the fish and chips also the steak pie and the burger everything we had was delicious . The staff were all brilliant couldn't do enough for you, can't fault the place.

Four of us ate here to celebrate a 60th birthday. We all chose a different main course and no one was disappointed. Friendly straightforward service. Nice that they have a list of wine recommendations for each dish with the option of a single glass so you can all find a good match.

Lovely tasty meal, service was excellent

My partner and I came here for dinner for my birthday and we absolutely loved it. The staff were all really friendly and kind, the pub is one of the few truly traditional country pubs left in Cumbria, with a lovely atmosphere - this was our second time visiting and both times we didn't want to leave! We will definitely be back soon :)

Had a fantastic first date here! The food was excellent and the service was wonderfully friendly. Everything was top-notch, except they weren't able to make me a Negroni. Otherwise, it would have been a solid 5 stars. Will definitely be back for the food and service!

Very tasty Sunday lunch. Well presented too. Love the quirky touches round the inn. An excellent team, kitchen and front of house. A great location, in the historic village of Dacre.

We have been at Grants several times and have always been made to feel very welcome , The food has been superb each time. Looking forward to our next visit.
