Always a warm welcome. Food was amazing (I never expect anything other). We opt'ed for various dishes off the menu, ranging from breads, swordfish, lamb meatballs, arancini, croquettes and many more ... carrots were delicious! Service is always perfect. The wine is well priced. So be sure to grab yourself a bottle to accompany your food. The food, the service and the atmosphere makes this value for money. Be sure to call in and experience it :)

First time I have been in since the refurbishment and have to say it looks fantastic. We went for lunch. I had the fish pie which was the nicest one I've ever eaten!! My partner chose a burger and said his was delicious. Staff were lovely and will definitely be going back.

Came for lunch with my daughter and granddaughter who treated me for my birthday. Service was top notch and the food was fantastic!! Will definitely be back with my husband

Unfortunately we were disappointed due to such slow service. We have always had fantastic meals and service, hopefully just a one off. Maybe staff should be allocated to look after certain areas/tables?

Been 3 times now, food and service excellent. We are new to the area so trying different venues and this is one of the best. Lovely view from the beer garden too. Definitely book in advance

Everything top class, the staff were all lovely, food tasty, and the ambiance was just right. We definitely be visiting again

First time we’ve been since the revamp. Food and service excellent. I’d booked online and presumed we would be in the restaurant but we were put in the bar on bucket chairs and a small round table. Unfortunately the chairs were not at a comfortable height to eat - too low. The open plan seems to have made it very noisy although there were some very loud people in that night so maybe that was why! We would definitely go again but would ring and ask for a table in the restaurant part next time.

This is our favourite restaurant in Rawtenstall. Atmosphere, service and food are always perfect. Its not cheap but well worth the extra spending. With a cocktail/beer on arrival, a bottle of wine with dinner, 6 or 7 dishes to share plus dessert expect to pay about £50+ per head. We always leave with sore tummys from eating too much but its so hard to resist. We always order the mushrooms in gorganzola sauce, delicious ribs in BBQ sauce and I cant resist the raw oysters, their always big, plump and juicy. There's a board that changes each day depending on what the chef buys and we always find fresh seafood on it. Huge prawns chargrilled in the shell, marinated octopus on a bed of lentils, there's always something new and delicious. Make sure to book as they get busy especially over the weekend.
