The White Hart – IronbridgeBirthday Meal ..... and to start a veloute of mushroom and truffle with sour dough. Followed by tandoori salmon with aioli and beef cheek with a sweet and sour sauce. Mains of crispy pork belly and teriyaki beef. Delicious. Definitely recommend a visit. Great value for money and the recommendation wine of the month was superb. Thanks for a great evening
The White Hart – IronbridgeWe visited with friends for lunch on a busy bank holiday. Received a warm welcome, great service and good food. My husband particularly enjoyed the Rioja. The lunch menu was varied 3 of us had tapas and 1 the burger. All cooked well, good portions and full of flavour. We usually visit in the evening but will certainly come again during the daytime
The White Hart – IronbridgeVisited the White Hart on Saturday evening. All round very nice evening. The young lady that looked after us was lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Thanks all at The White Hart
The White Hart – IronbridgeWe booked a table for 4 Saturday 17th August. The setting was excellent the restaurant lovely clean and laid out well The 2 waitresses were very attentive without being in your way 1 problem we found was the way we were dealt with by Josh the manager when I asked to clarify one of the dishes The food was very good but one of the dishes (the gnocchi dish) came out it was not what was expected again i say nothing wrong but not expected!! When it arrived there was broccoli stems and peppers which were not on the menu This is when we asked Josh to check the menu he did get a menu and stated that the items were the Caponata and that was how they did it. He reluctantly said that if we wanted it changed there would be a 25-30 minutes delay but then followed it up with well did you ask when we ordered in a very dismissive way We declined and were pretty cheesed off with his attitude Also more as a bit of constructive criticism I ordered the cheese and biscuits as a dessert which all sounded very good but was disappointed that the cheese came straight from the fridge and not at room temperature which as I understand is the correct way to serve and eat cheese We finished our evening down stairs in the bar and once again the staff were excellent To recap we had a good time and would return but would not want to be dealt with by Josh
The White Hart – IronbridgeWe visited the White Hart for lunch with our friends on a visit to Ironbridge. The pub itself is very pleasant and the service was good. Sadly though the food wasn’t great, I ordered the roast beef which was ok, but the Yorkshire pudding was cold, the carrots were burnt and the cauliflower was so hard I couldn’t eat it. My husband ordered the fish and chips and after seeing other guest have a huge fish he was disappointed that his whole meal was so small it looked like a child’s portion. As we were with friends we didn’t wish to spoil the day by complaining however we were very disappointed. Such a shame.
The White Hart – IronbridgeBrought a couple of visitors here for dinner on Saturday night. Very imaginative menu, excellent cooking and at a good price, together with an enthusiastic young staff and a nice ambiance. What more could you want?
The White Hart – IronbridgeFantastic customer service, excellent food and outstanding surroundings. Will definitely return.
The White Hart – IronbridgeFabulous Sunday lunch. I don’t often eat beef as have had a few poor pub meals but THIS one was fabulous! Tender, melt in the mouth, delicious gravy and vegetables and plenty of it. The service is very friendly and efficient. Very good value and I would highly recommend.

The White Hart – IronbridgeFabulous food. Attentive service. Made a lovely wedding cake for my 'just married' niece.
The White Hart – IronbridgeWe visited the White Hart for the first time in 5 years or so and don't understand why we havent been sooner. From. the warm welcome we received through to the excellent, faultless service we can't recommend visiting the pub more highly. The food really is a notch above any of the other pubs in Ironbridge, with the extensive menu, the quality of the ingredients and the amazing flavours of the food plus it was so nice not to have the plate full of potatoes in fact not a potato in sight. For wine drinkers there is a good selection to choose from to have by the glass, I plumped for a glass of Malbec which didn't disappoint. We certainly won't be leaving it another 5 years before we visit again, well done The White Hart.
The White Hart – IronbridgeFood well cooked and well presented. Lovely staff.
The White Hart – IronbridgeWhen we arrived there was a little mix up with our reservation. ( I'd reserved, but there was no record of it!) This wasn't made into a drama though, and we were smoothly seated into the dining room annexe. It was very busy for a Tuesday night and we hoped this was a sign that the food was going to be good! We wernt to be disappointed! Lee our waiter was very attentive and had lots of banter. The starters were delicious. I had the salmon, which had a crispy seasoned coating which was very good. The chef obviously has taken great thought into each dish, balancing flavour, and texture, well. Both my husband and myself choose the slow roasted belly pork for our main, and it was to die to! Soft, sticky melt in your mouth pork packed with flavour it was so tasty!Dessert finishes off our meal perfectly. Will definitely go back!
