We are regular diners at The Bull and the majority of the time we have no grumbles, however Christmas Day 2023 was a very underwhelming experience!!!

We ate out this year for Christmas, it was lovely to not have the hassle of cooking. All the staff were excellent whilst we were there and the food was very nice indeed.

Welcomed by bar staff and shown to a table. Nice choice on lunch and main menus, both of which offering great value. Food was fresh, hot, tasty and decent portions. Decor and atmosphere could benefit from a little attention, but overall very satisfied with the experience.

Visited a few times. Service was very disappointing. We sat for over 20 minutes once seated to order drinks (there was only 2 other tables in our area so wasn't busy). Order the Christmas fayre menu and usually get crackers and festive looking table and didn't this year..

Meal for 4 last night. Nice welcoming place, nice environment with pleasant staff. Good menu choice, main course was very good, not massive but very tasty. Deserts sounded good on menu, looked nice on arrival but service 1st waiting to order main was very slow and then waiting for food to arrive was slow. Was asked if we needed anything else without being offered desert menu which seemed strange. For desert I chose banoffee and it seriously lacked taste certainly no taste of banana or toffee but it was a nice light sponge. Other deserts looked nice with no complaints. Overall a nice meal in a nice place, not too noisy but nothing special in the grand scheme of things

Food was fabulous, really tasty. Staff welcoming and helpful. Service good. Not busy when we were there so no waiting between courses. Only issue we had was with the price of soft drinks. For a large blackcurrant and soda we were charged £1.80 which is about average yet for a large orange squash made with tap water the charge was almost double at £3.25??? Food was good value for money but not our drinks.

Great food, service and atmosphere. Excellent menu choices too. Walking distance (for us) to ideal location in the picturesque town of Ironbridge.

Came for the Christmas menu with a group of friends. Food was fantastic value and super tasty. £24 for two courses! Service was very quick. Staff were great - especially Rose who was very helpful. Only downsides - one of the food options that we’d pre ordered wasn’t available on the night, and quite a few of the puddings contained dark chocolate which I can’t have due to a heart condition. Very small things compared to everything else being great. We’ll be back again!!

Had a nice time out with friends and the food was lovely. On the back of that £27.30 for 3 glasses of wine was abit steep so the value for money wasn’t great though, overall it was expensive for what it was and the chap who was serving us wasn’t very helpful when asked a question regarding an ingredient in a dish in the menu just kinda shrugged and said he didn’t know rather than offering to go and find out from someone else.

Met with friends teatime Monday 18th December. Lovely warm welcome upon arrival. All menu options were available and the food was very good. Service was superb throughout the evening and prices reasonable. Definitely recommend.

Dinner for 2 - On arrival met by warm , friendly greeting and shown to our table . Lovely ambience, crisp white napkin . All the waiting staff were friendly, professional and welcoming . The food was delicious , hot and plentiful . Excellent value for money, would highly recommend and I look forward to going again soon .

Went Sunday evening. Disappointed that there was only the Sunday Lunch menu available. Wouldn’t have booked if we had known that. Considering they were only serving roasts, it took a long time for the food to arrive. However, once they did arrive, the roast dinners were very nice and generous portions. Couldn’t fault the food. Desserts were also good. The dessert sharing board is a very good idea. Again, the desserts did take a long time to arrive though.
