Himalaya Tandoori Restaurant – BridgnorthI had a meal recently at the wingfield arms this is not the first meal that we have had at the pub. We are quite regular there. We always have a great meal. We always enjoy our food and the atmosphere. There is a great local community feel to the place. There Is a lovely walk near the to walk off the large portion sizes. The food is very reasonable priced and a fantastic price!!! Would recommend to both friends and family!
Wingfield Arms – Shrewsburymy family and i have recently had a meal at the wingfield arms. we were greeted by very polite and helpful staff who showed us to our table. we were informed there would be a wait of 30 mins on food as they were catering for a large party in their main function room. we didn't mind this at all we were shown the menu and i was surprised on the amount of choice and the cost of very thing. (very good quality food for a reasonable price). i had ordered the steak which came with a steak dressing chips and veg. it was cooked to perfection. the portion size were on the large side but i didn't mind that one little bit. we all had dessert which was presently beautifully. the whole meal we felt very looked after by the staff and once we were relaxing after food the chef came out of the kitchen to chat to us and see if everything was okay. we felt that this was a great personal touch. we have recommended to friends already and we will be returning very soon!!!!!!
Wingfield Arms – ShrewsburyI have been to the Wingfield Arms recently for carvery. The food was all homemade and the beef was so tender, all the veg was cooked to perfection and tasted very fresh. The gravy was out of this world with amazing flavours coming through.we received fantastic service from the waiting on staff. all staff members served with a smile and were very polite and friendly. we also had a desert i personally had the cheese cake which was also homemade and was beautiful. cost was very reasonable and we will all be going back soon over the Christmas period.
Wingfield Arms – ShrewsburyI have recently eaten at the Wingfield Arms with a group of friends and think it is one of the best pubs for food in the area! Set just outside the main town it has a beautiful and well kept beer garden with somewhere safe and away from the road for children to play. The staff were all very friendly and attentive and the food was great! Servings were generous and the bill was nice and low. Couldn't believe what a bargain it was! Will be recommending to friends and family and will be back ourselves to visit to try a Sunday Carvery very soon!
Wingfield Arms – ShrewsburyMy Husband and I had a meal at the Wingfield recently on a Friday evening. The restaurant was very busy with a large party to also cater for and I am happy to say that this did not effect the service for us. We both had 2 courses including the steak for my husband and it was all cooked perfectly and to our liking. Staff were polite and friendly, making us feel very welcome. Will definitely recommend to our friends.
Wingfield Arms – ShrewsburyWe have recently had a meal at the wingfield arms traveling back from the west midlands. service was very good, polite and friendly staff. The wait on food was 40 mins due to the numbers in the restaurant and we had walked in on the off chance of a meal. we had both ordered steaks which were both cooked to our liking served with a choice of potatoes and salad or veg. food was fantastic and value for money. we did not order a dessert as we were too full but all desserts were homemade and 2.95 each. we would recommend this pub for food and the friendly atmosphere to any of our friends!!!
Wingfield Arms – ShrewsburyBeen here twice now when visiting relatives. The food is excellent, really tasty and good presentation. They do several dishes and the waiters are really friendly and have an excellent knowledge of the dishes and ingredients. The prices are very reasonable and the food is suberb. They also do a take away service. I look forward to visiting again, it is now one of my favourite places.
Kashmir Cafe – TelfordEnticed into this pub with signs saying "Real Ale" and "Sunday Lunch £4" - had to buy drinks in one half of the bar and guess what - No Real Ales! So ordered other drinks - then got table and went to order our Sunday Lunches and guess what "No Sunday Roast" (it was Sunday!). Very unhelpful manager said they had been "rammed busy" but we could only see 3 tables eating! (Took 10 minutes to queue to order the lunch they didn't have too. Not a good place.
Ye Olde Bull Ring – LudlowVisiting the area, we fancied Chinese and chose this place at random from yellow pages. On arriving we were surprised to find the place empty on a Friday night and nearly never went in. But I am so pleased we did, the meal was delicious, the prices reasonable and the service attentive but not 'in your face'. The chicken satay was the best I have ever tasted.
