The best fish and chips I have had absolutely 1st class a beautiful place with great staff

Absolutely fabulous little place. Warm and welcoming staff who go the extra mile. Food was amazing and reasonably priced. Will definitely be returning again . Keep up the great work guys.

Great food. The refurb has changed everything, no more red dingy and closed in damp feeling boozer with food. This is now a great feel and the food was awesome. The waitress who we know from the elephant crossing is the biggest attribute to the venue. Very attentive and welcoming.

Booked this location for my Birthday as family from all over UK and this was almost central. it also covers vegitarian which is some members of the party so 8 of us all ordering different sunday meals all were well received and served together. the half chicken was bigger than some of the ducks in the river outside!. the beef was nice in fact all of it was eaten and no bad coments. price was more than fair. also had a bar meal the night before and that was also great. satff very good

As always the meal was excellent, who ever they have in the kitchen keep it up consistently lovely food . Will be back to celebrate my 60 th

Nice atmosphere in restaurant/bar but disappointed with meal. Ordered a burger which consisted of two obviously frozen cheap patties which were greasy and chewy. Quality of food not good and would not recommend.

We regularly meal out at the Malthouse, the food is consistently excellent, the service is spot on , would highly recommend

Food was excellent 2 of us had southern fried chicken burger. 2 had ribeye steaks Can definitely recommend both. Then music at end of meal Great evening Definitely will be going again.

Good food and nice pub but the service was so slow. The staff just kept disappearing for ages and forgetting simple request. The one lad said there was no manager in at one point and it clearly showed. The food saved the experience
