great atmosphere lovely service and food was great, thanks folk's..

Firstly I want to say The White Hart is a lovely pub. The staff are friendly and the service is good but slow in busy times (as to be expected). The food quality is excellent but I feel I have to warn people that the portions are small, it’s one of those places where unless you order those courses you will need to stop at the chippy on the way home. Personally it’s not for us. We don’t like massive portions but we like value for money.

Brilliant! Beautiful food, very well cooked. Loved that you got different salads with the dishes. Great cocktails too - classics beautifully prepared. We were not very confident navigating the menu, the wonderful server talked us through it and advised on quantity. The service from everyone was a very high standard - more attentive and helpful than in the Michelin star restaurant we dined at the previous Saturday.

Delicious Sunday roast at a fabulous price. Can't wait to come back and try the regular menu. Great service too

Our second time of visiting, food and service exceptional and very relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommended to all. Will certainly be sharing our experiences with other friends

We were really looking forward to visiting the Smokey Cow as it had been recommended to us and it was our first time there. However, we left feeling a little disappointed. We had all read the menu in advance and were looking forward to ordering either their signature pies or the brisket. When we came to order we were told, quit casually, that there were no pies or brisket left. The waitress said that we should have been told when we arrived that they had sold out but this hadn’t been the case. Overall the service was ok and the food we ended up ordering was decent quality, just a really poor experience considering it was a Saturday night and our table was at 7pm so not that late. We would have expected that they had more than enough pies and brisket to serve the tables who had booked in advance as these are their signature meals. We had travelled from Perton and Sedgley to try the place out which isn’t amazingly close by. Such a shame.

Food was great. Plenty of choices for all on the menu. Service was excellent. Will be back!

Food was OK. Didn't realise there was going to be live music. The music was good but it was very loud and difficult to have a conversation. Service was very slow. Door was left open so smoke from smoking area just outside was blowing inside which wasn't great.

We stayed here for the night on route to Wales for a holiday. The place was great, quirky, rooms were spacious and beds were comfy..the food was the highlight we all thoroughly enjoyed it all. Only issue was waiting a very long time for my daughter's ice cream. No reason at all two scoops should have taken over half an hour to be served.

What a location but Visited recently all outside tables were dirty Quality of the drinks purchase were not the best Could do with a pipe clean and glasses were dirty Shame really

Table was booked a few weeks in advance for a 2pm Sunday lunch. Table was not ready when we arrived eventually we were seated and after half an hour still no service! After getting someone attention we were then told two meats off the menu and they said it was chefs fault! The meals came not piping hot no stuffing which was ordered as an extra by the time-we could draw someone attention we had almost finished and told stuffing had run out and waiter forgot to tell us.!

Food was great, service was a little slow but we wasn't in a rush so it wasn't an issue. We were only given the Sunday lunch menu, we had to ask about other menu, The staff were lovely and training a new lady so completely understood the slow timing.

4 of us went on a Thusday evening & had a variety of the open tacos, tortilla & fries. All were really tasty as were the sweets we finished with. Nice draught lager & cocktails. Good service & great outdoor space.

Food was poor, particularly given how much they charge (£7 for an extra portion of cauliflower cheese!). Roast potatoes were undercooked, pork fat hadn't been rendered properly and just not that nice.

On writing this review, this was the first time that I've had a meal at the Swan and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. It was cooked fresh and was very tasty. I really enjoyed the food, and the quality of the service that myself & my friends received was really good. The atmosphere of the place was really relaxing and enjoyable. I would highly recommend eating at this fine establishment. Thank you to the staff. I will definitely be returning in the future.

Good food well presented and severed by friendly staff, busy night with happy customers enjoying a Friday night out with friends and family just what a good pub should be !
