Wonderful Christmas day meal. Great service and atmosphere. Chestnut soup was fabulous and desserts lovely. Only criticism was that the vegetarian main was nowhere near as 'special' as last year. Both were wellingtons but last year's was wonderful with lovely veg but this year's tasted and looked like a cheese and potato pasty served with bland mash. I may be a bit sensitive about restaurants compromising on vegetarian meals but there really was no comparison to my meal in 2021. Everything else was wonderful.

True swan is a lovely pub , great views of the river , it was dark inside , the menu font was bad very hard to read , and not laminated so print was missing and menu was crinkled . The drinks where awful , no ice or lemon offered , terrible mismatched glasses , small measures of martini couldn’t taste it in the lemonade The food main course was brilliant well cooked and saved the day . We had steak burgers and fish all really well presented and tasted great The waitress was nowhere to be seen for at least 45 after we had finished our meals when she did arrive we ordered two apple pies which where badly presentated all broken up , completely tastelesss and to be honest for £7 appalling tbh , all in all the main meal worth going for but the rest bad

Gorgeous meal. 16oz rump cooked perfectly best I've eaten in ages. Sticky toffee pudding to die for. 12/10.

Lovingly prepared food, great sized portions, good ambience, polite staff. Can’t fault it. All reasonably priced for the ironbridge area.

Came for Xmas fayre Food was lovely and hot Shane the pub it self was NOT No heating on for this time of year it was freezing had to put coats on toilets were like walking into a igloo

What a lovely find. The 3 adults and two children in our group had a lovely here on Sunday, good food, very pleasant staff, good drink, fair prices and generous portions. A lovely experience, many thanks!

Disappointing! Hadn't been for a long time. Far too long a wait for food to be served, not the best roast dinner we have tasted. Crackling did not arrive with pork. It would be useful to see the dates on previous reviews.

Lovely food and great service!

Managed to accommodate us adding a person to our table- and the Christmas menu (were told we should have pre booked, but like someone else said, this isn’t advertised?!) Honestly the best Christmas lunch menu I have had at a restaurant, all food was hot and of great quality! Very happy, staff were lovely too!

I went to The Bull for a Christmas dinner with a group of friends. The food was excellent, the staff were incredible and the entire group had a lovely evening. We all agreed we will be going back soon.

Super food, as usual! Three of us shared a plate of warm breads with balsamic and olive oil and a bowl of olives whilst we waited for our Steak and Stilton Pie to be cooked to order. The appetiser was lovely as was the main course. Great pie, full of steak, beautifully cooked veg, Al dente, not soggy and overcooked like most veg can be. And the chips were the nicest I’ve had in a long time, piping hot and deliciously crispy. The service was friendly and attentive, and although the pub was fairly empty due to the weather, the atmosphere was still good because the place has a nice feel to it. all in all a great place for a pub meal.

We (4 of us) had an excellent meal off the festive menu yesterday. The food and service was superb and we will be returning in the New Year to sample the normal menu.

Great Sunday lunch , good value very tasty

We came here for our works Christmas meal and it was lovely, much better than when we came 3 years ago. The food was hot, good portion sizes and nobody's meal was incorrect or forgotten. Table service for the drinks, which was very handy, lovely cocktails on offer, and a great atmosphere. Thank you for a lovely experience!

We all really enjoyed the food and we’re totally stuffed. But unfortunately we had a bad experience with our server. yes we took a while to figure out who was paying what amount but it’s not like it was busy and our table was needed for anyone else, just as much as it was not deserved for her to walk over to a colleague and pointed two fingers to her head as if to say shoot me. we weren’t being rude we just wanted to make sure we were all paying what we owed. we also wanted to christmas menu but we’re told we had to pre book that, but we hadn’t been informed in booking and i checked the menu on the website and it also doesn’t state on there that you need to pre book the christmas menu
