Had a lovely meal. We went for seniors menu but no vegetarian dish on menu. I was allowed to have the roast veg tagliatelle which was lovely. Had the sticky toffee pudding and custard which was also really nice. Unlimited tea or coffee. Very quiet at lunch time

Food was excellent. Service was a little slow, but we weren't in a hurry. The temperature was quite cool in the restaurant so we ate with our coats on!

First time for Sunday lunch and most definitely not the last. Amazing food and excellent value.

We visited the Smokey cow yesterday and had a table booked for 6 people the food and drink was excellent, really enjoyed it! Are waitress was Charlotte and she was very welcoming and we had a great service from her! Definitely would recommend eating here and we will definitely be returning!

We booked for lunch on the day after boxing day after having had drinks the day before. Felt sorry for the staff because loads of people turned up without reservations and so they were understaffed. In the light of this, my comments and ratings are adjusted accordingly to reflect the difficult circumstances. First, the service. Understandably a bit of a wait due to how busy it was and staffing. However, it was not a problem getting topped up with drinks and requests were dealt with promptly and always a smile on server's face. Bravo. No rush to move us along either. Food- tasted great but could have been slightly warmer. Putting that down to staffing levels too. My wife's steak was slightly over but not too much. Menu choice was excellent, with only one or two things not available. Atmosphere- great. We had a nice clean table with plenty of space and there was a good vibe about the place. Our servers were very welcoming and always had a cheerful demeanour, despite the pressure they were under. VfM - prices were not OTT in my experience. There was a good range of prices and the mini fish and chips could easily have been priced higher. Would happily go back.

Been numerous times for drinks and music but decided to have food on last visit and oh my god was it worth the wasn’t too dear either will definitely dine here again

Delicious food. Every meal was tasty. Lovely relaxing atmosphere. Friendly staff. 5 of us ate, 2 were vegetarians. Thank you Our 5th visit this year

Whilst the food was generally good and some of the staff were helpful and friendly, there were so many things on the menu that weren’t available that my friend had to choose two different puddings before finding one they had, same with gin, and no ice! In a pub! Some of the seats could do with a clean and a new cover.

Excellent, very enjoyable meal and the staff were very good. We arrived 1130am xmas eve and the waitress seemed to be on her own but she coped really well even though it was a little busy. Bravo to her. We will return for evening menu.

While we had an hour to wait for our starters, ever other course came out at the right time, the meal was lovely especially the starters, the staff were brilliant, very professional, pleasant, helpful and friendly See you all soon, will definitely be back
