Excellent food and very friendly service as always. Amazing transformation for the Meadow Inn to the new Water Rat.

Only slight problem was the dining area was not warm but every other aspect exceeded expectations.

A friendly welcome and tasty food. Good menu options and the bar was fully stocked. All covid compliant and every effort was made to make our visit as normal and enjoyable as possible. I have eaten here a few times before and after such a difficult year for the White Heart it was great to see them open and their standards to be as high as ever. I will certainly go back soon and would recommend supporting the White Heart. 5 stars!

Decor a big improvement over the previous Meadow Inn. Giving a light and modern feel. Food well presented and enjoyable. Will return.

We booked after seeing an excellent review in a local magazine and it didn’t disappoint! We went for a child-free meal and we had a lovely time! Excellent food, lovely setting and good atmosphere. I have already recommended it to friends and family.

Excellent food we both had the braised beef . This is the second time we ave been in the last few months. Lovely decor and staff were very pleasant. Will definitely be going back .

Lovely food, lovely decor and friendly staff. We had the sea bass and chilli, both lovely and well presented. Such a shame we are in current climate or the ambiance too would have been perfect. We went day 1 of Tier 2 restrictions and so the restaurant was quiet.

This is second time of visiting in the last couple of months and I am very impressed. The service is very good, and food is great with a lovely atmosphere. We will definitely visit again soon .

Celebrated a work collegue's 50th Birthday. Staff couldn't have been more lovely. Food was excellent and the space warm and cosy on a cold autumnal day.

Again The White Hart didn't disappoint. You enter a COVID safe environment. Staff on the evening were very attentive. Starters included pickled beetroot with goats cheese and pigeon breast. Followed by Pork Fillet and Lamb Rump. All excellent dishes. If you've never been, or haven't visited in a while, make sure you give the place a try!! Well done to all the Team! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.
