The Smokey Cow – TelfordWe visited on a Friday afternoon after visiting the ironworks. There were 2 staff on for our 16.30 booking. They were absolutely fantastic, we had 3 young children with us, the menu choices for them were very good, as well as for the adults. The food was delicious, staff and service were excellent. We are planning to visit again when we return to the ironworks in September.

We weren’t disappointed; the sharer traditional Sunday roast was exceptional value for money and our dogs thoroughly enjoyed what we were unable to finish. To summarise, good quality and value for money food in a lovely establishment. Highly recommended.
The Golden Ball Inn – TelfordBought a Groupon voucher for the smokehouse afternoon tea for 4 people. Table was set and ready for us on arrival. We paid for a few extras, chips and onion rings. We were offered bottomless tea/coffee. The service was great, food was delicious and staff were friendly and efficient. Location was lovely. Would definitely recommend and will no doubt be returning. Thank you to all concerned.

Suree’s Kitchen – IronbridgeOur Home Group from church had a meal at the Raven to celebrate 'end of term'. There were fourteen of us and we enjoyed a nice lunch. We had placed our orders, by email, two days before, and the food was served, as ordered and quite soon after our arrival. Staff were pleasant throughout. We would definitely like to return on a similar occasion. Two minor observations: One of our folk thought the Mac and Cheese was a bit low on cheese, and another seemed to have been charged £2 for extra fries he hadn't asked for (with Ham, egg and chips). It has to be said, neither of them was very bothered about it. Those minor items apart, we were all very happy! We had a lovely relaxing time.
