Visited for on Valentine's Day. Left it to last minute and hadn't booked anywhere. Most local places were fully booked. Found that The Bull had tables available and they had a 2 for £20 deal on. Wasn't expecting much for that and the fact they had vacancies made me a little nervous but was pleasantly surprised. The place was tastefully decorated for Valentine's, staff were attentive without being intrusive, food was very good and portion sizes fantastic for the price. This will definitely become a regular haunt if our next visit is as good.

A much better experience than our last two visits. The food was lovely, but the service was disappointing.

Visited on 14.2.25 we had a delicious afternoon tea. The food was fresh and the staff lovely. Will definitely go back again.

Had an excellent lunch at The Last Inn yesterday. My wife had the Katsu vegetarian dish which she thought was fantastic. I had the lasagne which was excellent I finished with the apple and raspberry crumble which was superb. Overall outstanding value.

Lovely food and service

We stayed on the Sunday night as we'd booked afternoon tea for the Monday. The food was amazing, both evening & afternoon tea. But what was amazing was the girl serving us on the Monday...shf worked so hard, it was clear that there wasn't we enough staff but she managed to go it on her own really good and never forget anything we asked of her. Brilliant... we'll be back

Visited the swan on Sunday for a roast dinner after a lovely walk around Ironbridge. We book a table for 14:30 so to avoid disappointment. After looking at the menu we decided on the roast pork and the large roast which had roast pork and beef, the staff kept us updated on how long our food would take and we was not disappointed when it arrived. Both of the meats were cooked to perfection and the veg selection was great along with the braised red cabbage yum. We have had a number of Sunday lunches out and this one surpasses all of them. Being only 35 minutes from Walsall it will be our go to place for a Sunday lunch.

Delicious Sunday roast dinner & sweet. Excellent atmosphere & outstanding service by all staff. Good children’s menu. Well recommended & a return visit ASAP. Thank you.

Lovely pub by side of A5 Staff were very friendly and warm friendly atmosphere You can sit in either the conservatory which is light and bright or in the bar which is more intimate Menu is small so you don’t get overwhelmed by choice and a couple of specials . Food we ordered was tasty s d nicely presented. Good value for money

We came here as the place I had in mind was fully booked, and am I glad that was the case, because the Sunday Roast we had at The Swan was one of the best I've had in my life! Since moving to Shrewsbury I have had many Sunday lunches all over Shropshire, and they range from good to poor, but I can say that the Swan was 5/5. The staff were very friendly, the look of the building was great, I honestly couldn't fault the visit. Since visiting I have read the reviews, and I can't belive that it's the same place, because everything was spot-on for us. Can't wait to come back.

Lovely Sunday lunch as usual at the Water Rat. Consistency is their middle name. Plenty of it, beautifully cooked and the staff are just great - young and vibrant and can't do enough for you. Would recommend it over The Woodbridge these days. Well done guys, love coming down to see you all.

We had a great stay despite the bath leaking in the suite, and no fridge either. Definitely better in person than the pictures! Food was amazing. The staff was very friendly and polite. Will recommend and visit again

Fantastic food and great to see gluten free options as standard on the menu - a rarity! Disappointed however with the price of drinks - £4.80 for a single gin and then £3 for a tonic!

The food was adequate but you missed out n profit because your staff ignored me when I tried to order desserts and additional drinks. Your loss and 4 dissatisfied customers. Would neither recommend nor return. Understaffed. Also, don't mislead by calling yourself "Taphouse" when you don't have a brewery or serve real ale. 1/10.

Best food for miles, friendly staff, apart from the girl behind the bar who was on her phone as we were paying! Interesting night with some crazy and some nice customers, very entertaining. We have stayed there in the past and no complaints with the accommodation. Give their food a try, you won't be disappointed.

My partner and I had bottomless brunch here on Saturday and I must say it’s the best bottomless brunch I’ve ever been too! The food was delicious as were the cocktails and it was so nice to have all cocktails included. So many venues only offer Prosecco and beer, maybe a mimosa. The staff were fantastic, very fun and friendly and very good at making sure you always had a drink. Service was also really quick. As for the atmosphere this was also fantastic, lots of music from the early 2000’s which was very much my era. I will definitely be coming back!
