The Tilley Raven – ShrewsburyThis is the fourth year we have an annual pilgrimage to the Queen’s Head. For my mother‘s birthday, we may go for lunch and I’ll never disappointed. I had crab on sourdough with salad and chips. My mum had a baked potato with prawn cocktail. My sister and my niece had sweet chilli chicken wraps and my daughter had a ham and cheese toastie. The food is absolutely divine. All made fresh and excellent quality. The staff are lovely and very attentive. And I think it is excellent value for money.. the log fire was on in the bar making it all very cozy and warm. We were in the conservatory this time which was also lovely and warm.
