The Victoria Inn – BarmouthAlways a treat to go to Y Sgwar. As always Excellent food, service and ambiance. Thank you
Y Sgwar – PorthmadogWe visited Y Sgwar yet again during our annual jaunt to the area. It was as excellent as ever in all aspects.
Y Sgwar – PorthmadogAn absolute gem. excellent and friendly service. Booked for the earlybird menu, and the steak pie was the best I'vev ever had. I only wish I lived closer and could go more often. If you are in the Porthmadog area you must try the Y Sgwar.
Y Sgwar – PorthmadogGreat atmosphere. Delicious Sunday lunch, lovely beer garden next to the river.. set in a beautiful village.. visit everytime I’m in the area
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthWe enjoyed a lovely Sunday Lunch on 6 April. The food was delicious, the service excellent and the atmosphere welcoming.
Y Sgwar – PorthmadogI had steak and it was very bland and was tiny, it absolutely was as not worth the price it was!! Burger didn’t even taste like beef! Ribs were really fatty. Each meal had chips and they were saturated in oil! So so disappointing for the money we spent.
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthY Sgwar was highly recommended and did not disappoint! Staff were very efficient and friendly. Food was exceptional. Best dining experience in a long while.
Y Sgwar – PorthmadogFood and service top notch as usual. I took three friends for their first visit and they all thoroughly enjoyed their meals. Please that you now offer custard with your hot puddings!
Y Sgwar – PorthmadogFantastic pub, the server we had was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. Really friendly pub, rare to find these days.
The Bridge End Hotel – LlangollenNot the best, was waiting a long time for waitress to come over, waiting a long time for drinks had to remind them twice on 2 separate occasions about our drinks order. Not waiting too long for food, the food was ok, not amazing, but fine. Dirty crockery was given. It's a shame, I had high hopes, quite disappointing.
The Bridge End Hotel – LlangollenBooked on line and pre warned we were arriving with a dog. Shown to our table however the back room we were seated in had a large party which was very noisy so we asked to be moved which was absolutely no problem. Shown to a much quieter area which was perfect. We enjoyed the Sunday lunch menu, lamb was amazing, so was the beef, vegetables were to perfection and the staff were warm and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend and will be returning soon!
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthBooked Mothering Sunday lunch for a table of 11 of us which wasn't a problem for them to be fair. The staff there are al polite and can’t do enough for you. The food was amazing! So tasty and the portions are generous also. Would highly recommend a visit. Will definitely be going back soon! ⭐ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
