Fantastic food and service as always , never disappoints.

we booked for sunday dinner on 11th may 2025. placed the food order and 2 other tables ordered after us. another table of 5 then placed food order and was told there were no sunday dinners left. the 2 tables that ordered after us received their food. ours still hadnt arrived. i asked one of the staff where our food was. while he was checking, the table of 5 received food including sunday dinners (which they were told there wasnt any) the member of staff came back to apologise that there was a mix up in the kitchen and our food order had been stamped as being sent out. this wasnt the case and advised the member of staff we werent happy at all

Top quality food as always and a welcome return visit.

Excellent meal, served quickly, although we were in no rush.

First visit and found online booking very simple. Four of us ordered four different dishes all served very quickly. Staff pleasant We thought it was overall very nice . Will return and sample something different off the menu .

We have been using The Vic for many years, the food and service have always been 1st class. We ate outside in the garden yesterday, what a beautiful setting.

Service was good. Food took a while to come out. Two peoples food came out first then we waited about 7 minutes for the other two people's food to come. I ordered "loaded" fries. A few fries with a dollop of beef on top was not loaded fries. Very disappointing.

We ordered a sunday dinner. 3 people ordered after us. 2 of which got their food. The other table were told that there were no sundays dinners. They were then being served sunday dinners. When i asked a member of staff where our food was, we were told jo sunday dinners were left. But i told them them the other table was given our food. The replacement food we had was disgusting

Extremely helpful and friendly , perfect atmosphere and delicious food . Can’t wait to return .

We have recently brought a lodge at Black Rock Sands. Our friends introduced us to this beautiful restaurant. We are here every other week and always book Sunday lunch when here on long weekends. Evening meals too when we stay longer. The food is outstanding and the staff so friendly and attentive. The owners delivery a 5 star service. Would highly recommend this restaurant as food is freshly cooked.

Really enjoyed our meal on Tuesday 30 May and an excellent restaurant and we recommend anyone to book.

My wife and I enjoyed a very good fish dinner here. Pleasant and efficient bar staff. Good atmosphere.

Couldn’t fault anything about it . We had a wonderful Sunday Lunch in a lovely restaurant . We will definitely be back when in the area.
