Lovely evening meals while we were staying at the Victoria for a few days. Good sized portions and friendly staff.

Lovely meal, lovely staff - very knowledgable regarding menu options for those with food intolerances. Setting in the Old Courthouse was excellent - overlooking the castle. Thoroughly wonderful experience - thank you.

Great staff and great food. Friendly to our 5 year old son. I had checked reviews prior to going there and they were 100% accurate. From Liverpool we have an abundance of great restaurants to chose from and our bench mark is nigh!! this honestly didn’t disappoint Staff couldn’t do enough for you

Had a beautiful meal in old courthouse, food and service was excellent, would have been better with a few more people in but it was 6 30 on a Wednesday

As always, awesome. Party of six, all of whom were delighted with every course. Service impeccable. Tempura prawns, Welsh lamb and Pavlova for me. Perfect, and well worth the cost.

Really nice Sunday Lunch. Huge portions. Great parking. Very big pub so able to accommodate lots of people.

Love going to this pub for Sunday lunch it’s a beautiful location the staff are excellent and so is the food and it doesn’t cost the earth.

Food served was very substandard. Ordered the fish and chips - but the fish was not fresh or the batter. For £16 I would of expected better quality of food. The service was good and the staff were friendly.

Fantastic food. Very well sourced ingredients We all agreed that all the food was excellent but the highlight was the lamb which we all thought was the best we’d ever had. Wine list well chosen. Rioja fantastic. Wonderful ambiance and we all loved the piano recital.

Very tasty, good quality food. We had the roast dinner Yorkshire pudding wraps. Good portion size.

Enjoyed a lovely Sunday lunch at Horel Wrexham last Sunday - our first visit. The service was outstanding, our beautiful soup starter and mains carvery were superb, and great value for money. Well done to you all, having such a busy day with a wedding on site too. Excellent and will be glad to recommend
