Mick and his new head chef Isaac Anderson have taken the restaurant to great heights by putting together a strong kitchen team and implementing seasonal menus that make the best of Cornish produce, some of which he grows in the adjacent gardens. A herbery and veg plot give cougette flowers, broad beans, watercress rocket and others. Recently voted best beach cafe in Britain by the Guardian, the Telegraph gave it it’s first ever ten out of ten and Coast Mag named it Best Coastal Restaurant. Mick was also the subject of a ten part series filmed by Rick Stein’s production company and aired across the globe on Discovery.
