The Carriers Inn – FrodshamA fantastic meal. We enjoyed the French onion soup offer, we’d not had French onion soup before but loved it and the cakes were amazing. Lovely relaxed atmosphere and the service was brilliant.
Cafe De Paris – NantwichMet up with a friend for lunch and the service was excellent. Greeted with a polite young lady and shown to the table and then brought our drinks. The food was delicious and arrived very quickly. Beautiful setting and an old worldly charm inside. Highly recommended and will certainly go again.
Egerton Arms Astbury – CongletonWe all enjoyed our meals . The only complaint we wee stuck in a very dark corner with big plants surrounding us! It was a bit dismal and there were brighter rooms available.
Egerton Arms Astbury – CongletonCame here for a meal and did not leave disappointed, the food was lovely! Reasonably priced for the quality you recieve. The service was also very very good, nice, friendly, pleasant staff that made you feel like a valued customer, we will definitely be returning!
Egerton Arms Astbury – CongletonLove coming here, great atmosphere staff are helpful and friendly and the food is amazing
The Carriers Inn – FrodshamFood was good. Service but the young staff was good. Wine was dreadful. No wine list. I won’t be back until there’s decent wine to drink. Beer was good apparently. Atmosphere was busy and friendly but the impression was of an anxious management. Decor and surroundings were in much need of renovation. It looked as if some attempt was being made to revamp the place but it looked fairly unpromising sadly. If it’s worth doing- it’s worth doing well. We wish the pub well as it seems it’s had a rocky start from reading other reviews. People can be very reluctant to change. It’s in a beautiful spot and should be the heart of the village. Good luck.
The Tigers Head Country Pub and Dining – FrodshamExcellent visit...our friends loved the food and atmosphere
Panama Hattys Restaurant & Bar – TarporleyBooked a table for 5 of us, atmosphere great and the food was amazing. Service was brilliant at first but as things got more busier it did slow down which is understandable but this doesn't take away from te3 fact with the new owners and menu our local will thrive and we will definitely be back! Would be brilliant if they had a little play area of little ones!
The Carriers Inn – FrodshamOur food was very nice and service was generally really good. Employees very polite and efficient. My main complaint was that we ordered pizza garlic bread for starters and I stressed more than once that it was a starter (it was on the starter menu). So disappointing then that when our mains came I was told the garlic bread is also on its way. Basic mistake that shouldn't happen. Ultimately enjoyed our food but not blown away. Would go back but not in a rush - plenty of other places to try in the area.
Egerton Arms Astbury – CongletonFriday lunch with family, excellent all round.
Egerton Arms Astbury – CongletonLovely tasty and freshly cooked food with efficient service... one of the only places we've been to recently where 1) the food portions have not reduced, 2) there's still a wide choice of decent (rather than cheap to make) food, and 3) prices don't seem to have rocketed. Well done Pacinos!
Pacino’s – ChesterHad a stunning meal on Friday night. The food was excellent as was our waitress Nicky. We also went downstairs for a cocktail which was a great end to a lovely evening. I was also surprised at the bill, superb value for money for such high quality, delicious food. I would highly recommend this place to absolutely anyone and we will return very soon. Thank you all.
Lilac at The Chestergate – MacclesfieldWe had a lovely evening, food was amazing, as always
Pacino’s – ChesterAlways enjoy the Bacchus but miss the Soufflé starter and Halibut main
Bacchus Restaurant – MacclesfieldHad a lovely afternoon tea with a friend. The sandwiches were freshly cut and the fillings generous. The scones were fresh and there was a good selection of cakes. The staff at the desk were welcoming and the young men who served us were efficient, friendly and polite. I have been to this restaurant several times before and always found it to be reliably good.
Mere Court Restaurant – KnutsfordWe thought we would be brave and go out for an evening meal it’s been a long time since the recent bad times of Covid. We were so pleased we picked this lovely restaurant, the excellent food, the friendly service and the atmosphere it made a lovely evening. Thank you, we will be back.
