Friday lunchtime, 4 people, Mar 2024. Well-kept little bistro, outside seating would have been great in better weather (blankets are provided). Cosy inside, prompt service, limited space if you don't reserve. The food was of excellent quality, beautifully presented, and sufficient quantities. Fantastic value for money. We left fully satisfied with our experience.

Thank you for another lovely meal. Service was warm and friendly but not intrusive. Food was hot (very important to me!) and tasty. Will definitely come again. Looking forward to more options on the menu - lasagne would be good !

Have visited on many occasions and always amazing. Took my parents for my mother’s 60th and it’s the first time they’ve been and they were thrilled with the whole experience and food. Food is fantastic, service is second to none and fantastically priced. Cannot speak highly enough of Bacchus and the team

Great food, great service.

2nd time we have had Sunday dinner here and the food was consistently good. We would defo go again. Only down side was the lack of attentiveness in regards to drinks, they could have made a lot more money on our table alone if the staff went checking for drinks.

The young lady that took us to our table and took our orders was lovely and one of the other ladies who took our dessert order was really nice. We Had 3 roast dinners . Veg was good. The lamb was very poor. Very thinly sliced and only two thin pieces. For the money it was not good value at all. The mint sauce was just mushed mint. This was not a sauce. The two boys who were waiting on had zero customer service skills!!! No manners what so ever and boarded on been rude. They definitely need training in clearing plates from tables!!! We thought we were going to get them thrown at us as he throw the cutlery from one plate to another!!! We had desserts 2 crumbles and a bread and butter pud with cream. The bread and butter came with custard of which I sent back for it to be returned correctly but it was cold so I had to sent it back!!! I was told it was going to be taken off the bill but it wasn’t so I didn’t leave a tip. Very disappointing over all.

A super fast service by a lovely young lady that was very attentive and efficient. We were a party of four having a meal on a Sunday- we all chose lamb, and had a few months ago too. We all ate everything on our plate which was ample and delicious. I had chocolate fudge cake with custard and everyone else had apple pie & custard, again it was all served quickly, hot and tasty! Thank you.

The food, ambiance and staff were all lovely. I found it difficult to cut up the delicious sourdough toast with the cutlery as it was very blunt though!

Went for Lunch yesterday for my Mum’s 84th birthday and had a lovely time- it’s so nice that the kitchen only start to prep the mains when we’ve finished the starters, instead of rushing the food out! Staff are always really helpful and attentive too. Starters were lovely, and 3 of our mains were perfect, just 1 was less so, but the staff dealt with it promptly and resolved the situation really well - as my Dad said, it’s things like this that make you more than happy to visit again!

Went to try the new Italian menu with friends and what can I say, it was fantastic in every way! The place is starting to look so much better under the new management and the food and service were spot on. I loved the idea of having several small portions as it allows you to have a taste of more options. Being a coeliac it was great to have so many GF options as well. We all came away full and having had a great night! We will definitely be back!

Highly recommended. We booked a table for 11 of us. Ages ranged between 5 & 90. The food was top quality and the service excellent. Helpful, happy staff ensuring we enjoyed our experience.

We came for the bottomless brunch. The food was amazing. Great value for money. Atmosphere was perfect. The bar staff were friendly and entertaining. Would highly recommend.
