Nice little run out to the lovely hidden gem. We had the roast beef Sundsy meal. Mash, roasties, seasonal vegetables, yourkshire pudding roast beef a plentiful. The service was very friendly, and a log burner was a bonus £16.50, then 30% off. Wow. Thank you

The Plough also happens to be our local pub so win win!! The service is also second to none, staff are very organised and professional and very friendly, this pub has a lovely vibe..highly recommend!

Alvanley Arms – TarporleyI have to say first time we have had a complaint Enjoyed an excellent meal early December. We had Sunday lunch thereyesterday but disappointing. Roast Beef and Yorkshire Pudding a plentiful supply of vegetables and mash and roast potatoes with gravy. However my Yorkshire pudding was pathetic and limp not at all crispy total opposite to what it should have been. I did eventually speak to a lovely young man who arranged another one. The replacement eventually arrived and I did enjoy it but feel the original should never have been served dark brown and soft ugh!

The tables were beautifully prepared for our arrival and nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious and we couldn’t have asked for more. The atmosphere was very relaxed and we were not rushed or felt like we needed to leave after was had finished our food and drinks . The hotel also provided a surprise birthday for our mum ; a lovely chocolatey pudding plate, her face was a picture of happiness upon receiving it. Thank you again, we would return and recommend to others ….
