Quality is always first class at this beautiful restaurant. Service is also superb. We enjoyed the lunch menu and have no hesitation in recommending to others. In our view nowhere better in the are.

We love Cafe Paris and come a lot. Unfortunately our experience on Friday was not good. We had made a booking but still had to wait to see how they could fit us in. We waited an hour for our food which I had to chase. We don’t love the current menu as much as the last one. Staff were clearly run off their feet but it definitely wasn’t a best experience

Had a lovely stay at Mere Court Hotel, and a great evening meal, the best lamb I’ve had!! The breakfast was amazing in the morning too! Thank you for an amazing stay and fresh delicious food!

We were very impressed overall, the food was excellent, it was my wife’s birthday and we all had a free glass of Prosecco and the cost of her meal was knocked off, bringing out a slice of cake and candles at the end was a lovely touch. Thanks for helping to make it a great night.

Lovely food yesterday highly recommend service was quick too

Sadly, not a great experience. I booked a table for lunch as it's my husband's favourite place and I had organised a special day of treats for him. I was working, my husband came in and was told he didn't have a table booked, luckily it wasn't busy, which, for a Saturday lunchtime is unheard of. I questioned this when I arrived and was told that it was for our surname, well my husband has the same surname as me?! ...My husband already had my order and ordered for us when he arrived. I came 15 minutes later, as I said I was working and didn't have a lot of time. At 30 minutes after my husband ordered, I asked how long the order would be, a salad and a sandwich. We were told 5 mins. At 45 mins it still hadn't arrived, I cancelled my order as I didn't have enough time to eat it before I had to back to work. I was quite annoyed as my husband ended up eating by himself and I didn't have time to get anything else for my lunch. We have enjoyed lunch here many times, but sadly the service and food was not up to its usual standard.

Not great experience food took an hour and was really tasteless. Lovely pub nice service just food was really poor.

I booked for six people, the weather was really good, so we asked if possible we will get the service outside, quickly they prepared two tables and service by friendly staff , the food was lovely, so we really had a good time for sure we will book it again.

Had a lovely lunch. Parked at the Plough then went on one of their walks first. Would recommend 100%

A birthday celebration at Bacchus. Such a lovely restaurant. The food was delicious as always and the staff are lovely. One of the best restaurants in this part of Cheshire. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely afternoon tea at The Mere Court Hotel. Every item was super fresh and tasted delicious. The service was fabulous and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel and grounds are beautiful, and we will definitely be returning in the future. Highly recommended.

Excellent service, polite staff, delicious food, inviting atmosphere, dog friendly. Can’t fault anything!! Highly recommend, will definitely be visiting again.

I’ve been going to the Plough for years on and off as and as yet I’ve never had a bad meal, I meet up with old friends from work and we go here, lovely atmosphere and service is very good and staff friendly, and of course lovely food.

Great place to eat and relax — delicious homemade food, friendly atmosphere, and excellent value with local drinks and £3.50 cask ales. Highly recommend! Recently taken over
