We had an excellent birthday meal on Saturday at Bacchus, Prestbury. Food choices and the staff were both excellent. Thank you!

Bacchus Restaurant – MacclesfieldGreat restaurant, nice atmosphere and really friendly nice staff. This was my 3rd visit here, but I found all the food very bland this time with not much taste. The waitresses were lovely but we had 4 of them serving us at different times and felt rushed. Would like to come here again, but not sure I will.
Elmas Restaurant – LymmLovely pub, nice atmosphere. Very friendly and polite staff. Food excellent. Would definitely recommend.
The Plough at Whitegate – NorthwichAnother excellent meal (gammon steaks) for our special occasion. A pleasure to eat where there is genuine traditional atmospere and service.
The Plough at Whitegate – NorthwichWe had afternoon tea which was my mum's treat for her 86th Birthday. The hotel gave my mum a complimentary special cup cake and chocolates, and candle for her Birthday. It is a lovely hotel, we noticed it has had an update. Lovely venue for a treat, party or wedding - lovely grounds. We will be going back.
Mere Court Restaurant – KnutsfordWe enjoyed an excellent Sunday lunch at Bacchus last weekend. Three substantial and tasty courses for £37.50 per person represented excellent value and there was a good choice of wine to complement the meal. The service was of a high standard and friendly without being intrusive. All in all, an experience we look forward to repeating soon.
Bacchus Restaurant – MacclesfieldThe Sunday lunch was delicious and highly recommended. The pub is very cosy with amazing views from the beer garden.
The Coach and Horses – CongletonExcellent all round. The food was amazing and plenty of it. The mixed roast was delicious and the meat was perfect. The waitress was very informative and friendly. Will definitely be back soon.
Alvanley Arms – TarporleyExcellent meal and service would definitely go again. Have recommended to my friends, the price was good to
Alvanley Arms – TarporleyService was great but that's all I would rather go to a soup kitchen then eat here again for £60 the food was disgusting hunters chicken wrapped in bacon fat not bacon belly pork all grisly and the beef and ale pie was vile left the feeling very disappointed and will not return so avoid avoid avoid
The Cheshire Yeoman – Ellesmere PortOne of the best restaurants in the area. The food is always excellent, and the service spot on. It manages to be quite formal and traditional without any of the stuffiness. The wine list is spectacular and whilst it will not be a cheap night out, I believe offers great value.
Bacchus Restaurant – MacclesfieldFabulous food great flavors. Staff so polite, plesant & friendly. Good selection of drinks & cocktails.Great price's too, well worth a visit, highly recommend, I took my wife for her birthday & when we ordered dessert they brought an extra dessert out with a couple of candles in it,my wife was so pleased, it was a lovely surprise from them thank you for a lovely evening. Will definitely be returning soon to Panama Hatty's
Panama Hattys Restaurant & Bar – TarporleyThe Poachers is a lovely traditional pub offering a wide selection of beers and other brews. Good choice of food from the menu just a bit disappointed that gammon was not on it. So I had the fried chicken with gunpowder potatoes. A fiery meal indeed! One whinge was the table was still sticky from previous diners
The Poachers Inn – MacclesfieldWe came for lunch here on 28th August. The place was lovely. Staff were very polite and friendly. I’m gluten free & the menu for that was really good with a lot of choices. Everyone enjoyed their meal & we will come back again in the future. The only downside was after we paid the bill & got back home & looked at the receipt we had been charged for an extra drink that we didn’t order. Next I will check the receipt before we pay.
White Lion at Alvanley – FrodshamAn excellent meal, one of the best steaks I had had in ages. Do not let the structure of the building effect your judgement as the interior is far superior. To explain, it is a red brick building that doesn't look the best, but the inside is perfect.
Pacino’s – ChesterVaried choice on the menu and food was good. I had the small fish and chips and asked for some tartare sauce and was pleasantly surprised with a homemade sauce rather than a sachet and it was lovely. I have already recommended the establishment to several people. It was a very quiet Saturday lunch time which was perfect for hearing each other talk.
The Poachers Inn – MacclesfieldWe went on a Saturday night food was nice however the seafood claypot should be called tomato claypot as there was very little fish in it but lots of tomatoes. 3 prawns and 3 muscles that were pea size, Very dark inside and to be honest over priced. We won’t be going back!! Pestos is much better.
Panama Hattys Restaurant & Bar – TarporleyLovely place, exceptional service and wonderful food. Consistently good!!
