La Mezzaluna – CarlisleLovely meal with my wife to celebrate my birthday. The food and atmosphere were excellent and we will come again when in the area again. Make sure to book as it was full at 6.30 pm on a Monday!!
Pheasant Inn – KeswickExcellent meal, good friendly service
Pheasant Inn – Keswick4 of us went for Sunday lunch very warm welcome great atmosphere real fire good selection of beers and wine. The Sunday dinner was massive we had beef loads of it cooked perfectly and chicken again delicious. Yorkshires massive and tasty everything on plate was full of flavour all fresh veg highly recommended. Best Sunday lunch we've had in Keswick. Cost very reasonable they do small dinner for over 65 and under 12 small dinners not small at all.
Pheasant Inn – KeswickDelicious roast beef dinner. Veggie pie was delicious too. Caramel tart was 10/10 Definitely will be back
Harry’s Cafe Bar at Yew Tree Barn – Grange-over-SandsLovely steak pie, was delicious. The rest of the dishes were OK, my daughter enjoyed the burger but the other children's food was not great. The decor and seating was not that inviting or cosy and was tired. Staff were friendly enough but felt it lacked atmosphere, definitely needs some TLC
Hope and Anchor – Grange-over-SandsBrilliant food and friendly staff!
La Mezzaluna – CarlisleSunday lunch with a group of friends, and everyone commented on how good the food (and drink) was. Nice selection of vegetables with the Sunday roasts, and an excellent nut roast served with vegan gravy. Great flagstone and wooden floor, and proper "old cosy pub" feel to it. Steph behind the bar was lovely and friendly.
Queens Head Inn Tirril – PenrithWe enjoyed a lovely evening at the Pheasant Inn, Keswick on Saturday 16 Nov. The pub had a lovely, welcoming atmosphere and we were well looked after. The food was excellent and there was a good variety of choice. The staff were great and our food arrived quickly and well presented. We will definitely go back.
Pheasant Inn – KeswickStaff were lovely we didn’t feel at all rushed and food was lovely also me and my friend enjoyed it Thankyou ❤️

La Mezzaluna – CarlisleBe back soon. Food was lovely x
La Mezzaluna – CarlisleI'm going to regret writing this review because I'm going to struggle to get a table after this but Jane you have absolutely nailed it with this restaurant. The place is beautiful the staff are excellent especially the manager and the food is as to be expected outstanding. This is as La Mezzaluna is exceptional food, standards and service and just what Carlisle needs.
Sage and Vine – CarlisleWe visited as a party of 24 for my daughter’s 21st birthday. The service was amazing from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was delicious with plenty of choice. We will definitely be returning.
La Mezzaluna – CarlisleAbsolutely amazing food and service every time, we absolutely love it here, the food is just amazing and the staff are lovely and very friendly, just wish I lived closer as we would be here all the time. Penriths little Jem for fabulous food.
Grants Of Castlegate – PenrithExcellent service & delicious food - never disappointed eating here! Great value for money in a lovely environment.
La Mezzaluna – CarlisleLovely evening at the bistro. I have a restricted diet and the staff worked with me to accommodate. Food was very good quality and decent portions. Large sea bass for my wife which was well prepared. Good atmosphere and we left well fed and relaxed. Easily recommend
Lewis’s Bistro – GrasmereVisited last night. Staff lovely especially the blond lady. Sadly even though I booked a week before we were sat right in front of the door getting really cold when people were in and out. Nice atmosphere. The chicken was lovely but sadly the fillet steak wasn’t fillet and was really bland. The soup was not very appealing and the prawns were tiny little things. The sticky toffee pudding was amazing. Little bit overpriced but not much competition for them in Grasmere.
