It’s my 3rd time going yesterday and I’ll say the mince wasn’t as good as last weeks but but the mash is still super awesome. & bread & butter pudding is brilliant. Please keep it on your menu.

Greyhound Inn Cotehill – CarlisleDropped in for light lunch and really enjoyed the experience. Staff welcoming friendly and helpful. Great choice of food which was excellent. Lovely historical village we had views towards the church. Will definitely call in again as roast dinners looked fab. Highly recommend this place a little gem.

Pheasant Inn – KeswickWe went on a Friday lunchtime. The tables were full but it was not crowded. The pub was warm and welcoming. We have a large puppy, a German Shepherd. She was made very welcome and we didn't feel that she was in the way. We had an excellent lunch, two of us had Cullen Skink, which could possibly have had a little more of the smoked haddock in it to give a stronger flavour, but was very enjoyable. My husband had the steak pie which he said was excellent. We were too full to have a pudding! Will definitely return.
