We will be back in June & would highly recommend any one to visit this lovely cosy Bistro in the beautiful village of Grasmere. We have been going to this Bistro for at least 7 years and it never disappoints.

My husband had terrine to start followed by the lamb rump every element delightful. Small family run business really excellent service. We would come back if in the area again thank you.

The Wheatsheaf at Beetham – MilnthorpeExcellent food not just standard pub grub. I had the venison bourguignon which was delicious. My wife had the slow cooked lamb which was just as expected but she couldn't finish it all...I helped. Also the fish pie was delicious full of prawns and fish with loads of buttery mash on top. Good selection of beers too. Would and have highly recommend it to everyone.
