Lewis’s Bistro – GrasmereGreat stay , great dinner and great brekkie...well done guys.
Queens Head Inn Tirril – PenrithAm amazing venue with food that can’t be faulted. On our anniversary the owner went above and beyond to make sure we had a memorable evening. We had the rack of lamb and the curry, both cooked to perfection.
Lewis’s Bistro – GrasmereFood was appalling
The Wheatsheaf Inn – KendalHad a lovely meal at mezzaluna, great service and staff. Would definitely recommend. Thank you all.
La Mezzaluna – CarlisleExcellent pub grub, with a varied menu. The young barman could not of been more helpful and attentive. Give it a go.
Pheasant Inn – KeswickAlways amazing food & service
Sage and Vine – CarlisleNice pub and ok atmosphere for a Saturday afternoon. Didn't want a big stodgy meal so opted for a chicken Caesar salad, just as well I didn't want a big meal as this had about 10 baby gem leaves a few slithers of parmesan cheese, 8 small pieces of chicken and 6 croutons. For the price pretty shocking.
Kings Arms – UlverstonCompared to previous visits the food was average and the staff need to know how to smile and interact with the customers
Pig and Whistle – CartmelLovely food and staff. We were seated promptly and the food didn’t take long at all! Only slight issue was it was a bit noisy however but it did quieten down as we ate. Would definitely come back!
La Mezzaluna – CarlisleSecond visit to Sage & Vine, and will be back again soon. Lovely restaurant, fantastic food and the best staff, who are so friendly, welcoming and attentive.
Sage and Vine – CarlisleI don’t think I’ve ever written a restaurant review on this page, but this restaurant has driven me to it. It was astonishing value for money with delicious food and great staff. I can’t complain about anything. We will definitely be back.
La Mezzaluna – CarlisleAs always service brill and food the best .. love this place .see u all in the new year xxx
Queens Head Inn Tirril – PenrithFood and service great thanks again
Grants Of Castlegate – PenrithFood was excellent and loved the curry sauce and gravy as side options! Good choice of wines and good service.
Pig and Whistle – CartmelWe return to The Pheasant every time we are in the Lakes. The pub has real character, the staff are always friendly and attentive and the food is the best! We can’t recommend it highly enough. We just wish White Bait was on the menu every night not just as a special, we miss it!
Pheasant Inn – KeswickAlways receive a warm and friendly welcome. Service is very efficient and food quality is always well above standard pub fair. Highly recommended
